Since Becky went to secondary school the girls hardly ever get to scoot to school together as Becky usually leaves earlier than Ellie and I. There is the odd occasion when Ellie goes to breakfast club they get to leave at the same time...
They have a great time and I am left behind trying to keep up.
Such a practical way to cover the distance quickly and good for you too.
ReplyDeleteThey love it....Thank you.
DeleteI have a picture just like this of my children, it's a lovely angle. #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteNow that Kara has joined the boys at school, all three of them regularly scoot to school. I've given up trying to keep up with them ...
ReplyDeleteIt's great fun for them...Not so much for us. I am glad when I walk home and can go at my own pace. lol x
DeleteHow cute. Olivia does this too but, I am the one giving up as we have a hill to climb going to school and I have to push her. haha
ReplyDeletehahaha. Luckily we have no hills. Thank you.
DeleteLovely photo of the two of them, it's fab that they do get to scoot together sometimes x
ReplyDeleteIt is really nice. As much as they argue and bicker they do miss each other being at different schools x
DeleteLovely photo and it's nice that they can still go to school together occasionally.
ReplyDeleteIt is. Thank you.
DeleteI bet she misses her sister now they are at different schools. Lovely photo x
ReplyDeleteThey really do miss each other....In just under 2 years and the will be together again when Ellie goes up to the secondary school x
DeleteMy girls would love to scooter to school but they'd end up falling off
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up
Aww! Bless them!
DeleteHi Kim, it looks like a fun way to get to school. I'd love to have seen you scooting away on onetoo!
ReplyDeletexx
hahaha! No scooting for me, yet. I have been looking at getting my own though.
DeleteLove it when my boys head off, rucksacks on back and deep in conversation.
ReplyDelete#mysundayphoto
It's so sweet isn't it. Thank you.
DeleteMy girls used to scoot to school, then I had to carry the scooters home..do you do that or is there a place for them at school. I didn't mind so much when we lived 5 mins from the school, but it's a lot longer now with big roads to cross...and I don't take them anymore, their Dad does.
ReplyDeleteThere is bike sheds at school to store the scooters....I don't think I could manage to carry them home. Ellie's school is about 15 minutes away and Becky's about 25 so the scooters make the journey easier x
DeleteHow nice that they can scoot together sometimes, that's better than never.
ReplyDeleteIt sure is. Thank you.
DeleteA real treat for them on those days then Kim. Do you use one of them to scoot home again? Have a great week x
ReplyDeleteIt is a treat for them...The love it.
DeleteI really should but Becky goes on to her school when we drop Ellie off and Ellie's is just about falling apart. I don't think it would take my weight. lol
Hahaha - arm and shoulder ache it is then ... x
DeleteOh this is fab. We want to try scooting to school at some point. Sounds so fun!
ReplyDeleteYou should...It's great exercise and a lot of fun x
DeleteLooks like they are having a great time!
ReplyDeleteThey were. Thank you.
DeleteGreat way to travel to school!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is. Thank you.
DeleteThis is such a great way to get to school. I am used to seeing mums walking back home carrying scooters!
ReplyDeleteAhh! We leave them at school. hehehe Both the schools have some fab bike sheds x
DeleteThis is a fabulous way to get to school, Evie has to go to school on the bus now, it's not the same. A great photo, it looks like Ellie is nearly as tall as Becky too. Have a lovely week xx #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteIt really is a lot of fun for them...
DeleteEllie is growing too fast. I think she's going to be taller than us all. Eek! lol
This is such a sweet photo of your girls x
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteAw, that is such a sweet photo. x
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteCheeky Chap used to love scooting to school. If it wasn't for my back he'd still be doing it.
ReplyDeleteOh no! What a shame...
DeleteThey look really close. Might be you need a scooter too ;)
ReplyDeleteThey really are....
DeleteI'm thinking so too x
Eldest scoots and I run nearly everyday on the second half of the school run (too many kids, too many schools!) He loves it and it gets some energy going /out of him too. Lovey pick - saw it on your IG too I think. #mmbc
ReplyDeleteI often thing when I'm walking fast behind that I should start running...
DeleteThank you.
Lovely picture Kim. I used to love my daughter scooting home from school, it meant I could ride her scooter to school, more cars use to stare at me, lol..
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteMy girls leave their scooters at school so no scooting for me, although I am thinking about getting my own! x
Aww! Bless her. She will gain confidence soon, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
