Last weeks meal plan went well....I changed a couple of things one of the meals was accidentally....The kids were both distracting me while I was making tea and I grabbed something which looked like chicken nuggets. They were actually fish bites....We had them with chips and beans. Oh well....I was aiming to empty the freezer and it helped a little.
The novelty of home made pizza has worn off for the kids....They didn't fancy them on Saturday night and I wasn't faffing around making 2 different meals so we decided to have burgers in buns. The buns came out of the freezer so that freed up more room. Hooray....
This week on the menu we have:
Monday - I am making the slow cooker fruity curry again very similar to the one I made a couple of weeks ago this time it will be a chicken one. I will serve it with rice and naan bread....
Tuesday - A vegetable stir fry with egg noodles....
Wednesday - Tuna, onion and sweetcorn pasta....So simple!
Thursday - A fry up! Sausages, bacon, mushrooms, fried egg, black pudding, hash browns, beans and tomatoes....
Friday - Pizza....
Saturday - Sloppy Joe Sandwiches....
Sunday - A roast dinner. Probably chicken or pork....
What will you be eating this week?
Sounds like a tasty week! #MMBC

DeleteI definitely need to work on making some space in my freezer too. It always seems to fill up. I love the idea of a fry up for dinner! At the moment this weeks plan here includes spaghetti bolognese, Pork fillet stir fry and making a start on the freezer - I know I've got frozen breaded fish so we will probably have a home made fish and chips night, with mushy peas (the babies favourite!). #MMBC
ReplyDeleteI half emptied it last week & it's nearly full again. lol Hooray for freezing leftovers though. Thank you x
DeleteI'm hoping to get the slow cooker working this week, I'm going to have a go at making my own kimchi stew! I also have a lamb casserole in the plan.
ReplyDeleteOhh! Yum! I love the sound of the stew. I've just Googled it. Yum!

DeleteSounds like a menu packed full of family favourites. I keep looking at Sloppy Joe's and wondering if I should try them or if the boys just won't get on with them, I guess there's only way to find out!
ReplyDeleteMy two love the Sloppy Joe sandwiches but they are so mess. lol
DeleteI have no idea what a sloppy joe sandwich is but it sounds like it may be a tower of fillings x
ReplyDeleteIt's like a bolognese mix in buns. Very messy but very tasty x
