I think it has something to do with Walt being the dad from Malcom in the Middle - just threw me. Have to say though Buffy is the only one I re-watch (anything by Joss Whedon really). I watched it originally at one of those times in life when things seemed to be "just right" and so it's linked to a lot of good memories.
