Happy Sunday! The past week has went really quickly considering I have had a pretty quiet one, pottering around the house, spending time in the garden and lots of time with my family.
It's another Bank Holiday weekend so of course the weather is a bit rubbish. It was grey and dull yesterday and today is not forecast to be much better. After the week of high temperatures it seems really unfair that the weekend is so cold. Hmmf. Ellie still went out in her shorts yesterday she caught the sun during the week, even with sunscreen on and has a lovely tan so wants to show it off. She is the type of person that tans really quickly.
Now for a photo every day!
117/365 - 27th April.
We had been working in the garden but decided to stop for an ice cream break. Just the cheap Cornetto type one's from the supermarket but it hit the spot.
118/365 - 28th April.
Stu and Ellie were having a tidy in the garage and Ellie found a ton of garden toys including a football which meant she had to make use of the basketball hoop above the garage.
119/365 - 29th April.
Yeet! hehehe Becky ended up with an extra Jey Uso blanket from her Temu order and gave it to me. I like to have a blanket over me no matter what the weather and this is perfect for the summer as it's so thin.
120/365 - 30th April.
I have been using my new big cup and have been drinking at least 3 cup fulls a day. It's takes just under a litre so I am getting a decent amount of water, well juice. I add a bit of Vimto or orange squash to the water to give it a bit of flavour.
121/365 - 1st May.
I went and did my bit and took Ellie with me to vote as next time we get the chance to vote she will be old enough.
122/365 - 2nd May.
The sheep are back in the field with the their lambs.
123/365 - 3rd May.
Just a day at home for me, doing my own thing which included housework, staying in my pj's and not really brushing my hair until just before our Gousto box was delivered.
Bonus to the extra blanket, my colleague just did a Temu order and got some bargains. I am tempted to try again. I love seeing all the fields filled with sheep and their lambs
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be a shock this week with the temperature dropping again next week. The sunshine has been lovely while it's lasted.
ReplyDeleteI saw that you had planted lots of seeds this week I can't wait to see what grows.
I'm the same with blankets I always have to have one my lap when I'm sitting on the couch even in summer, it must be a comfort thing.
I hope you've had a lovely weekend.
I love a blanket here too. I was too enthusiastic this morning not putting socks on, so the blanket has had to come out again.
ReplyDeleteI knew it was going to be colder for the Bank holiday weekend, it always is, at least it hasn't been raining, but my guys are complaining today that they are cold, wimps. I do like to have a few blankets around the house. The lambs are so cute, I haven't seen any this spring yet.
ReplyDeleteWell done for voting! Cornettos are a classic treat, I'm so predictable, when I get one, I sing, Just one Cornetto to embarrass my family.
My Dad told me that the weather had been beautiful, but had turned cold again. Ellie was brave wearing shorts. I haven't even got mine out yet! The sheep are very cute.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a good week. It was a good idea to take Ellie w you to vote. A good example that I hope will encourge her to vote often when she's eligibile. #MMBC
ReplyDeleteThat's how we feel about our weather right now! It was so nice and warm and sunny last week and then this week it's supposed to be cold and rainy and miserable.
ReplyDeleteIt was a shame that the bank holiday weekend was on the chillier side after all the lovely sunshine we had. Hopefully the warmer weather will be back again soon. I took the kids with me when I went to vote too – it’s good for them to see what it’s all about. I can’t quite believe that Ellie’s now nearly old enough to vote though! How lovely to see the lambs in the field. #project365
ReplyDeleteIt's nice you are drinking lots of water - I absolutely fail at that! When we cleaned out our garden for the year, we found so many pairs of sunglasses for some reason. It's wild what hides in the long grass!
