A couple of weeks ago I shared a blog post about Our DIY plans for 2020 and the two rooms that I said didn't need much doing were the bathroom and the kitchen. I forgot to mention there is little touches needed like a few accessories need buying. I had been looking at grey lamp shades for the kitchen and couldn't find any that stood out and I liked.
On Saturday Stu went to the local auction to bid on some computer parts. He didn't get them but did come home with a metal, grey lamp shade which was perfect for the kitchen. I'd seen similar for about £10 but he paid £2. Fantastic!!
What a bargain, and it looks great.
