Pumpkin gunk & scary kids! #wickedwednesday

Someone was more interested in playing with the gunk from out of the pumpkins rather than carving them.....It got everywhere!

I asked them to pull a scary face....This is the best they could do....Ellie thinks she's a zombie and Becky just looks angry. lol

On Monday I found I out won an amazing competition from the blog North East Family Fun. 4 rink side seats to Disney on Ice, pre-show hospitality, goody bags for the kids, the chance to meet two of the stars of the show and transport there and back in a pink limousine! I'm still in shock and I feel so, so lucky and grateful.....

I wasn't going to tell the kids but felt like if I didn't I would explode. So I made them a little video with clues about where they are going. I caught their reaction and some of the faces pulled were hilarious. Especially from Ellie....

To say they were happy is an understatement....

It was Ellie's birthday on Monday....She had a great day but with birthdays comes mess....Lots of mess....The mess that stresses you out but you are so tired from organising the best birthday you can't be bothered to clean it up.....The living room was tidied and in the kitchen all the food was put away....I just closed the door, opened the wine and ignored it until the next day.....

I have to share this too....It made me think of Wicked Wednesdays.....The best Pinata because it didn't break with one hit but the worst because it wouldn't break.....lol We had to push a hole in it....lol

Never let your children find out the pin code for Sky TV or they will buy movies that nobody really wants to watch....The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride and Curious George 3!

My little darling Ellie bought 2 films at £7.99 each. Grrr!

I suppose we get them sent to us on DVD but they are not my first choice of films....Someone said on Twitter I should make her watch them every day as punishment. lol

Ellie is known to do silly things....One of the silly things she did lately was colour this doll in permanent marker pen....I suppose it could have been worse....At least it wasn't her own face...

Oh and it's been through the washing machine and it didn't make a bit of difference.....lol I think it looks evil....

All I wanted was one nice photo of my girls and their dad. All they had to do was sit still and smile....22 photos and I got one decent one. lol

If I didn't have my youngest Ellie I would never have a Wicked Wednesday post...She is the gift that keeps on giving....

The smell of nail varnish drifted downstairs....

That is the face of someone who has just been told off. 
Her sister saw and heard nothing even though she was in the next room!
I counted to ten, breathed and counted to ten again!
Nail varnish remover, a lot of scrubbing and she still had pink marks on her....

I'm so glad it's has been half term.....She looked diseased. I didn't fancy explaining the pink marks to the school....lol

A messy bath. #wickedwednesdays

A couple of weeks ago when I was running Ellie's bath she tipped a whole bottle of Radox bubble bath into the bath! I banned her from having anymore baths....She was to make do with showers....

After she had been painting on Saturday she obviously covered in paint and needed more than a shower....I forgot about the ban and ran her a bath....

Our bathroom is right next to the kitchen so when Ellie is in the bath I can get on and wash the dishes and potter about....

In the 7 minutes that I was in the kitchen she had emptied two bottles of talc, a bottle of body lotion and two tubs of hair gel into the bath!!

I was beyond livid.

I pulled the plug and showered her.....Then got her to clean the bath out which resulted in a lot of shouting, stamping and huffing....Not just from me, from her too! 

She really is banned from baths now!

Tidying our rooms. #wickedwednesdays

On Saturday I decided to sort my clothes out....A job I have been meaning to do for ages. I have just been throwing my clothes on the top of the drawers and they looked a mess....The shame!

The whole time I was tidying the girls had a lovely time sitting on my bed playing on their tablets.....

They were not too impressed when I took their tablets off them when it was time for them to tidy their rooms....lol

They were even less impressed when I wouldn't help them tidy their rooms....They wouldn't help me. Why should I help them....hehehe

This is the face she pulls when she isn't allowed to go into the orthodontists room to see her see her sister getting her braces tightened....She had been looking forward to seeing her sister in pain all day the little meanie.

I thought Ellie would have grown out of drawing on things by now....You can't really make it out but you get the gist.

I had to give her an A for effort....She wrote some rules on mine & Stu's bedroom door. Knock before coming in, no kids allowed, no jumping on the bed....lol

She was made to scrub it all off....She was so lucky it wasn't a permanent marker....

When I ask Ellie for a photo nine times out of 10 she does something like on these photos....She's so hard to work with....hehehe

Stropping and Blackmail. #wickedwednesdays

A day out wouldn't be compete without a stroppy child....The stroppy child was Ellie (in the pink)....She had got it into her head that we were going to the soft play in the shopping center....

Firstly it is for younger children, secondly it is too expensive and thirdly I didn't even know where it was....

We sat down to get a drink and she took the huff big style....She wouldn't even look at Stu and I. Becky didn't help matters by laughing at her....Every time she spoke it was accompanied with a stamp and a growl....lol

The only way to save the day was resorting to blackmail in the form of a fancy, overpriced ice-cream....That put a smile on her face....Phew!

Not impressed with big school - #wickedwednesdays

Last week we had Becky's parents evening and after picking Ellie up from school I walked up to the secondary school....We caught all the kids coming out and it was scary! Kids are getting tall now a days....I felt so small....lol

We got into the entrance, met Becky and took a seat....I asked Ellie what she thought of big school and this was her reaction! lol

She wasn't too impressed. lol

Easter Egg Fail - #wickedwednesdays

A little while ago I received some Easter Egg moulds from Aldi....I had dreams of making a huge Cream Egg....

On Saturday we gave them a try...Everything was going well. We melted the chocolate, filled the moulds and popped them in the fridge!

While we were waiting for them to set Ellie licked the bowl out while I de-nitted her....Ahh! The glamour of it....Some people go on fab days out we eat chocolate and hunt nits....lol

The eggs had set and it was time to get them out of the moulds....Ellie was like a bull in a china shop....I managed to save one half!!! Never work with kids...lol

Yes it tasted delicious....Way better than normal Cadbury Cream eggs. lol
