In the colder months there I always seem to enjoy things like cross stitch, drinking hot chocolate, snuggling under a blanket and doing things like jigsaws. There is something really relaxing about something as simple as doing a puzzle.
Every year I buy a couple of jigsaws for the girls and I to do over Christmas and we really enjoy them. Recently I was sent a beautiful one from Puzzle Crazy to have a look at.
It comes in a variety of sizes from 35 to 1000 pieces in cardboard and also has a foam option with 300 pieces. It is a made from strong cardboard and I can imagine this lasting for years.
What makes this jigsaw a little more special is that every time one of these is sold £5 from every puzzle goes directly to the artist which is a fantastic gesture with everything that is going on in the world.
All of Puzzle Crazy puzzles are made and printed in the UK and the price of them depends on the size of the puzzle. This one starts at £23.50. I can't wait to get started on it with my girls.
Jigsaw puzzles make fantastic gifts, whether it's for your parents, grandparents, kids, friends or even just a treat for yourself. A Christmas/Winter one like this could being a new tradition of completing it every year in the run up to Christmas.
Studies show that people who do jigsaw puzzles have longer life spans. Puzzling stimulates the brain, improves your short term memory, they're a great meditation tool and stress reliever and a great activity to do with your family.
I was sent this jigsaw puzzle free of charge in exchange for this blog post.
I do enjoy a jigsaw puzzle and something good to do during lockdown. x
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty jigsaw. I'm the same as you, I always get a festive puzzle that we can all have a go at in the colder months. This would look lovely in a frame afterwards and used as a Christmas decoration. x
