Word Of The Week!

My word of the week is....


I know, I know....It's bad watching too much TV but is seems like this week has revolved around it....I usually have the tv on just for some background noise but don't really watch it...I glance up every now and again but that's it this week I seemed to have watched loads....

It all started Sunday!!.....Stu and Becky had a major games marathon....They took over the tv by playing on the Wii all afternoon....They are both so competitive! They played all sorts of games..... Skateboarding, golf, Mario, Just Dance, Sonic the hedgehog and finished with Who wants to be a millionaire.....They were playing and getting stuck on some of the questions....They thought I was so clever answering they correctly straight away.....Little did they know I was Googling the answers....hehehe It was a lovely afternoon...

 Monday came along and it was Ellie's turn to take over the TV....There was a new series of Topsy & Tim on Cbeebies but at the same time a new series called Sheriff Callie's Wild West on Disney Junior which she's been dying to see.....She came up with a plan though....She watched Sheriff Callie on the +1 Channel....Too clever for her own good....hehehe

Monday night has turned into the best night for TV....Well it is for me anyway.....There was the soaps to watch then at 9pm I had a tough choice to make....The Walking Dead or One Born every minute....The Walking Dead won and OBEM was recorded....I hate having to wait a week for the next episode but that's life!!

I have recently got back into watching the WWE wrestling and have watched lots this week.....It's coming up to Wrestlemania....The biggest event of the wrestling year and on the show filmed on Monday two of the biggest stars returned....The Undertaker and Hulk Hogan!!! So exciting!! Roll on April the 6th for Wrestlemania!!

Thursday was the only night there wasn't much on so I started watching things I recorded....I still have a weeks worth of Emmerdale to watch as well as about 4 episodes of Resturaunt Stakeout on the Sky Planner and everything else I fancy....I think I have about 14% space left...I'm blaming the kids....hehehe Far too many episodes of Sofia, Doc Mcstuffins and Good Luck Charlie on there....

This time of year the TV is great! Even Saturday night TV is picking up now Ant & Dec are back!!

    A bit of TV now and again doesn't hurt. We have weeks where we don't really watch it but then have weeks where we have loads of recordings to get through :-) I was excited to see Ant and Dec back too ! x #WotW

    It's easy to get involved in the TV though isn't it. Over the Winter Olympics I had it on way more than usual and really felt the need to keep it off this week! Mind you, we have been enjoying The Killing on DVD!

      I hardly watched the Winter Olympics but did enjoy the curling.....lol
      I had never heard of The Killing until I just Googled it....It looks very interesting :)

    I love the honesty in this post. Too many are all snotty about watching telly. If it is balanced with other stuff, where is the harm?

    I don't believe there is such thing as too much television :) it does no harm in my eyes - I've grown up with it as somethng always on in the background and am no worse off for it :D enjoy all your shows!

    A new series of Topsy and Tim you say? My four year old will be all over that! We don't have satellite though so I have to wait for Walking Dead to come out on DVD and then rent. I watch some TV but not soaps - at the mo my faves are The Voice, Uncle (on BBC3 - I watch on iPlayer) and that's about it really though I do find myself sucked into the hubster's addiction to "Savage Family Diggers", "Storage Hunters" and "River Monsters"! The Wii games sound like great fun - my kids are too young for all that yet...

      Ohh yes! Topsy and Tim are back and they still haven't moved house....lol
      Ohhh I would love to watch the full series of The Walking dead in one go....No waiting a week for an episode...hehehe x

    I'm very glad you posted this. I love television too! In fact we find we are watching more now that we can watch whatever we like on demand (iPlayer or Netflix). I like that my teenager also wants to watch more grown up stuff with us and discuss it too. Really thought I'd never see an end to CBeebies at one point! #WotW

      Hooray! My eldest is starting to like more grown up shows too....She's 11! It's great to have a chat about our fave shows :)

    I'm a big TV fan if I'm honest :) But, I never watch anything 'live'! It's either on the DVR or on Amazon Prime. Although, I have to say that blogging has eaten into my TV time a little... My DVR is also rather low in space :) #WotW

    I've been feeling bad recently as I think my little boy is watching too much tele. I definitely use it as a babysitter so I can get things done/bf my baby etc. Great word of the week post ! x

      I know how you feel......I used to feel that way when my girls were younger....Now they're not too bothered with the TV....It's more me watching it than them!
