This past week has flown over, in a good way! I feel like I have had a good mix of busy and time to do my own thing too. The girls have been busy, especially Ellie who has spent a lot of time with her friends.
Yesterday we had a day out in Hull. I needed something to wear for a night out but was very disappointed in Primark. I know summer is coming but the amount of bikinis they had was a little excessive! I did manage to get a top but there really wasn't much to choose from. Hmmf. I was meant to buy Easter eggs but forgot all about them. Oops! That will be a job for sometime over the next few of days.
Now for a photo every day!
Stu made brunch! Sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, hash browns, mushrooms, baked beans, onion rings and toast. It's nice when Stu is home and he takes over the cooking!

Ellie spent the afternoon gaming, she had a little help setting up her new character in a game that she plays. Apparently it's not as simple as I thought it was. A lot of time has to go into picking the right armour and weapons. Who knew!
98/365 - 8th April.
Ellie's nails! She is making the most of not being at college and has them long! They're not practical when she is at college doing wiring and fiddly things.
99/365 - 9th April.
I had to join in with the trend on social media where you upload a photo to ChatGPT and ask it to create a toy action figure of yourself. I have loved seeing other people's too!
100/365 - 10th April.
The person picking my food shop must have been very distracted on Thursday morning. I ordered the Lazy Garlic and they sent a different one to what I ordered and some extra garlic paste which wasn't on my list and I ordered custard doughnuts and some strawberry one's and a pack of ring doughnuts arrived which I also didn't order. I wasn't charged for the extras, how odd! I would have said something when I was receiving the order but didn't take much notice of what I was taking in. Oops.

I love this time of year with all the blossom on the trees. At my dad's, his side of the road is always a couple of weeks behind the other side of the road as it gets less sun. We thought all the blossom had gone until his side started blooming!
102/365 - 12th April.
We were out for the day and went to the all you can eat place in Hull. I of course had to try a few of the desserts. Banana and custard, Eton Mess, a mini trifle, chocolate and mint cake, black forest gateaux and some minty mousse!
It is the first time I visit your blog, you commented on mine. It's such a long time I haven't eaten hash browns I think it was in 1971 when we were for the first time in the States ! Pancakes too and I loved the Marple syrup !
ReplyDeleteI did wonder where all these doll images were coming from, I might have to try it too. I would be eating desserts only at an all you can eat too LOL
ReplyDeleteOoh I love an eat as much as you want buffet. We don't really have one near us, but I think they're great for introducing kids to loads of different foods. Although N usually just wants pizza, roasts, and beige food! The blossom round here has only just started coming out in the last week and a half. But the wind came up today, so expecting lots has been blown off now.
ReplyDeleteI love you 'mini you' doll! Hehe. The little glass of wine made me laugh. I need to make one. I did one of the kids and they were brill.
ReplyDeleteStu's brunch looks amazing! I hope you all enjoyed your food at Hull too.
Thanks again for my lovely plant. I love it so much. :) xx
Stu's brunch looks tasty, I wish my DH could cook, he can only make a cup of coffee. I've seen the doll lookalikes on Insta, some are great fun. Yours is very cute. We have lots of blossom in town too, and something is triggering my hay fever. Those desserts are so tempting, I'd want to try them all too. Extras from Tesco are a lovely little bonus.
ReplyDeleteYour character and accessories looks very appropriate. Shopping substitutions can be so random but I was told that (with Tesco at least) the choices are computer generated. Sometimes AI isn't so great lol. We had hash browns at breakfast today. Grandkids loved them. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteYour nails are so pretty. I love the look. I hope this coming week is wonderful! #MMBC
ReplyDeleteI tried the ChatGPT prompt but it kept getting it wrong - lol - or maybe I was expecting too much.
ReplyDeleteThe green cake just stood out for me. That's the kind of thing I would like to try too. Ellie's nails are stunning.
ReplyDeleteYour ChatBox figure reminds me of when we created Bitmojis a few years back... my students at school loved it when I'd add a new one to my collection (it came in especially helpful when I was teaching remotely). Have a good week, Kim!
ReplyDeleteThose blossoms are so pretty! I can't wait for trees to start blooming (well, I mean I kind of can as I don't look forward to the allergies that go along with them but I do love seeing all the pretty blooms). The desserts all look so yummy.
ReplyDeleteEllies nail look pretty. I never worry about substitutes as long as they're near the mark, they only do it if they're out of what you order and sometimes it's nice to try something new. I'm loving the blossom that's out at the moment
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you've had a lovely week, Ellie sounds like she's been busy I'm glad she got to wear some lovely nails before college starts again.
ReplyDeleteI tried that action figure thing and the result was awful lol, yours looks cool though.
Those little deserts look delicious, we used to have a really good all you can eat place but it closed down a while back.
That brunch looks delicious. Love Ellie’s nails. How strange to end up with extra items on your food shop. Love seeing blossom at this time of year, it’s so pretty. Those desserts look yummy. #project365
