Disney Pictopia - Review!!

We were recently asked if we would like to try out another game from Esdevium Games....In the past we have tried a couple of their games including Dobble Kids and Hotel Tycoon...

This time we chose Disney Pictopia.....A fantastic game which last week won 6 different toy & game awards!! It is aimed at children aged seven and up and is for two to six players...

Disney Pictopia poses trivia questions that span the decades of Disney’s cinematic history. This stunning game is ideal for families with young children or Disney enthusiasts. Not only is it a great way to test your Disney knowledge it offers a unique twist some questions must be answered from the perspective of the player asking the question making it ideal for gathering the whole family around the table this Christmas....

We were all excited to give this game a try being big Disney fans....It was easy to set up and within minutes of opening the box we were ready to play....

After a quick read of the instructions we were off....When it's your turn you are the one reading the questions....Which I thought was great as we all got a chance to be in charge....Before the question is read you make a wager with the wager coins if you are not confident  choose 1 and if you think you know it all 5....The winner is the first one to get to the castle at the end of the board!

This is a cute game....The questions are fun and some easy and some not so...Usually with games like this we help Ellie my 8 year old out a little but she needed no help at all....In fact she was helping me....She is a huge Disney fan so we were all trying to keep up with her....She won and was overjoyed!

This really is a game for all ages and I can see it becoming one of our favourites....

Disney Pictopia costs around £19.99 and is available from Amazon and other online shops....

We were sent this game free of charge for our honest review....All thoughts and opinions are our own.

Our Weekly Meal Plan!! - #mealplanningmonday

On Friday we realised the freezer wasn't freezing properly especially on the top shelf. Ugh! It was cold but not cold enough to keep everything frozen properly....So we got on the phone to Curry's....Someone was coming out tomorrow to have a look at it....I say was because by Saturday evening it was working fine again....In fact it was working better than ever. It has always made a lot of noise.....Now it doesn't. We rang back up and cancelled the guy to fix it....What a faff!

It's not a bad thing though....Every cloud has a silver lining and all that...My shopping bill was so low....I didn't buy anything for the freezer as I thought it was broken and this time of year I always try to empty the freezer ready for Christmas....It breaking but not actually being broke has actually done me a favour.....

Our meals for the weekend were scrapped  and we ate out of the freezer....Lots of chicken nuggets, pizza and chips. The kids were happy! I wasn't.....I do like to have a nice family meal on Saturday evening....We all ate different things....

So this week on the menu this week we have:

Monday - Beans on toast....
Tuesday - Corned beef pie and chips....
Wednesday - Sausage casserole mash and veg....
Thursday - Bacon sandwiches....
Friday - Fish and Chips....
Saturday - It's my birthday! Takeaway!! I'm thinking an Indians....
Sunday - Stu has said he is cooking as he expects me to have a hangover....hehehe So I have no idea at the moment...

As always I've joined in with the wonderful Mrs M's #mealplanningmonday linky....
