I hope you are all having a good weekend! We're having a lovely one with all of us at home. It has been a quiet one, the weather hasn't been great. Wet and windy! Ugh! At least it hasn't been that cold although we have had the heating on just to get that cosy feeling. Next week the temperature is set to drop which I am not looking forward to but it will be nice to get into my winter clothes. Hooray for my fleecy leggings!

We had such a quiet day at home, one of those days where time went a bit blurry and I really had to think hard about what I did. I’m pretty sure all I did all afternoon was watch Christmas movies and play The Sims.

It has been grey and gloomy all week and we have had a lot of rain. I tried to take a photo but of course the rain didn’t show because it never does. It was that fine, mizzly kind of rain, I think that is the worst type of rain. It doesn't look like much but gets you soaked.

I spent the day at home with Becky. She was busy giving her bedroom a deep clean and when she had finished she decided she needed a reward so ordered us both some festive drinks. The mint hot chocolate from Greggs is so good, it tastes like Christmas in a cup! I couldn't get a festive drink without getting a mince pie too.

Ellie's main Christmas present was delivered. I was going to get her the A16 but the A17 was on sale for the same price. She’s going to end up with the best phone in the entire house, which she keeps reminding us of.

Christmas Fa La La Llama pyjamas! Another thing ticked off my to do list for Christmas, buy my family matching pj's. They were actually in the men’s section but pyjamas don’t care about your gender, they care about comfort and they feel like they're going to be very comfy. They weren't that expensive either. I buy us matching one's every year but they get worn all year around, we don't care if they're Christmas one's in the middle of June. lol
318/365 - 14th November
Surprise surprise more rain! I had my comfiest clothes on, a loungewear set which aren't pj's but are as comfy as them. I cracked on with the housework and got through a mountain of washing. I also got around to watching a couple of episodes of Grey's Anatomy. I haven't watched any of the newest season so it was a real treat.

Friday’s laundry was washed, dried but not sorted or folded, it was left on the dining room table. Sorting that out was yesterdays first job!
Ugh to that rain but if you didn't have to be anywhere, I suppose it isn't too bad!! Those matching PJ's are so cute and your drink sounds really good. I hope your weekend is going well!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun recap of the week. Hadley has asked for a new phone for her birthday..I assumed I'd get her the 16 but the 17 isn't much more, so she probably will have the best phone in the house. haha
ReplyDeleteWe need rain here in central Florida. Wish you could send some over!! Kim, I always enjoy your photos from your previous week! Such a fun idea. I've gotten a little Christmas shopping done. I really don't have much to do. Friends and neighbors here do little gift bags with some goodies, but nothing expensive. I send the grandkids some money. We don't exchange gifts with many other family members. I send a wine basket or cookie basket. None of my family live close and none of us travel during the holidays. It is still the season of love and fun, though!! Have a great week ahead!
