We were hit with the lergy....

Definition of bleurgh: used to express disappointment, disgust, annoyance....

That pretty much sums up my week.....lol

We were hit with the lergy.....Early Tuesday morning Ellie was the first to be sick.....From about 3am she cried, puked, dozed and puked some more....Eventually she fell back to sleep.....Woke about 9am was sick again then demanded food.....She's definitely my daughter....hehehe I can be sick then eat as if nothing happened....We had a day of watching Peppa Pig....I hate that pig!

Becky came home from school on Tuesday and said she had been sick in her Science lesson.....All over the table, floor and her exercise book.....She got herself cleaned up and carried on with her day, ate lunch and felt a whole lot better....What a trooper she is.....I'm still rather miffed the school didn't ring but I guess that's part of her being at secondary school and being more independent....

Thursday was my sicky day.....It only lasted a few hours and I'm glad to say we're all feeling better now.....Thankfully it was only a quick bug.....Fingers crossed Stu doesn't catch it.....He's a real moaner when he's poorly....hehehe

I can't help but love the Villain....

Not in real life of course......On TV!

We aren’t supposed to like the bad guys but of course we do.....There’s just something about a clever villain in a television show that pulls me in and makes me want more.....I constantly find myself rooting for most villains because they are so much more interesting than the main character or hero....

My favourites in no particular....My top 5 are....

The Governor from The Walking Dead...

Until the second series of The Walking Dead the walkers were main problem for Rick and his group.....Come season 3 The Governor happened.... All he wants is to make a place where people can return to their old lifestyle and he actually is very successful at that but he was crazy!!

He is/was such a charismatic villain! Possibly the worst type....He showed no signs of evil until it was too late....He was a deeply twisted man with a hatred for anyone he couldn't control.....Killing innocent survivors, keeping zombie heads and still taking care of his daughter who had turned into a walker....The worst thing he did was killing one my favourite characters....He did it all with ease, with righteousness, and with no regret or guilt!! Evil!!

Gus Fring from Breaking Bad...

Gus Fring was a community leader with a chain of ordinary chicken restaurants by day and by night, he was a millionaire meth kingpin who was prone to using a box-cutter to make one hell of a point. I loved that scene....hehehe

Instead of the usual crazy and eccentric kind of villain he's so calm and a quiet man....He was a bad guy who managed to look like a good guy on the outside!! When you find out about his past you can sort of understand why he is like he is but that's no excuse....Even when he got half of his face blown off he still manages to walk a few feet and fix his tie....That shows class!

T-Bag from Prison Break...

Racist, rapist, murderer, pedophile.....You are meant to hate
T-Bag from the start....Still his charm and impressive intellect seduce you and make you like him.....We should know better.....

T-Bag escapes from Fox River with Michael Scofield and six other inmates.....To ensure his safety he handcuffs himself to Michael but one of the other Prisoners grows sick of him and chops of his hand....Of course he's gets a vet to reattach his it without any anesthetic....Eek! Very resourceful though....

He was so smart, a great actor and so witty....He definitely has a good side, although he didn’t let it show for too long.

Angel/Angelus from Buffy the Vampire Slayer...

Angel, a vampire with a soul was the love interest of Buffy for most of season one and the beginning of season two until they spend a night together and after experiencing a moment of true happiness he loses his soul.

Without his soul Angel became Angelus an evil vampire intent on destroying the world. He didn’t have an ounce of humanity....

When he was good he was very, very good and when he was bad she was horrid....Going from hero to villain and back again....He pulls it off so well and makes you remember that it’s those close to you that can hurt you the most...

Sylar from Heroes...

Sylar was one of the the coolest villains on TV.....

Back before it turned into an awful show and got ridiculous Heroes launched one of the greatest TV villains of all time.....

Sylar's super hero power was that he could take other people's power....The only catch was that he had to cut open their brains to get it.....Sylar had no qualms about killing anyone and everyone with special powers which makes him both a murderer and a greedy little so and so.....He had no conscience....I still love him though.

Who's your favourite TV villain?

Baylis & Harding Black Pepper & Ginseng Set - Review!!

I always struggle to buy presents for Stu.....He doesn't really have any hobbies apart from playing games on his computer and computer parts are expensive so I usually resort to novelty t-shirts, pj's and of course socks.....

I do often think about buying Stu grooming products but don't really know where to start with him....Stu is always clean and tidy but he's not usually one for pampering and grooming himself so much....A bit of soap and water, a spray of deodorant and he's done....

Imagine his surprise when I gave him the Baylis & Harding Black Pepper & Ginseng Large Box Set to try out....He was very impressed and said I should of kept if for Christmas for him....

A stylish large box set containing products for the ultimate male grooming - The perfect introduction to male grooming the Baylis & Harding Way.

Stylish is an understatement.....The box is gorgeous.....It will be one of those boxes which gets used for something else.....Recycle, recycle, recycle.....hehehe The way it is packaged makes the set look more expensive then it actually is which of course is a good thing.....This is one of those gift sets which you don't actually want to use as it's so pretty to look at.

This neat box set includes 300ml & 100ml Hair & Body Wash, 300ml Shower Gel, 100ml Aftershave Balm & 100ml Face Wash all infused with our cool, fresh, Citrus Lime & Mint fragrance.

Stu took himself off for a shower and a shave and gave everything a try.....He said it was great. His exact words were that "it was much better then the supermarket stuff"....lol Doh! Of course it is.....Men!

The smell when using these products are not overpowering....Stu could hardly smell it so he says....I could smell it on him and it smelled fantastic.....I'm not saying he smells bad usually but he smelt a lot better than normal.....

This is a fantastic set for any man in your life.....Maybe something for Christmas? You don't have to break the bank to get it either too....At £25 it is very reasonably priced.....

This set has really inspired me....I have been looking at the other Mens Gift Sets on the House of Fraser website and I have already picked out what to by my fella for Christmas....

This review is in collaboration with House of Fraser. All thoughts and opinions are my fellas and my own...

More make up - #wickedwednesdays

I've mentioned before how much Ellie likes make up.....In fact my first time linking to Wicked Wednesdays a while ago was Ellie's fabulous eye make up...

This week I am sharing the some photos from last year.....Kids playing quietly is always a sign they're up to something!!

And this was the end result.....

To say I was livid was an understatement....I made her clean it all up...And yes it was all the make up that I owned!!
