My favourite blogs to read...

I read a lot of blogs.....I have my favourites that whenever a new post goes live I will be along to read it....

Please don't be offended if I don't mention you....I do read a lot of blogs and enjoy all of those that I do read....I could have easily listed 100 blogs that I love

In no particular order....

Anne blogs about family life and may be the most positive person I know....In every bad situation she seems to find something good.....Anne is currently wheelchair bound after getting a very rare condition called Stiff Person Syndrome which makes me one in a million! She really is....I think I have read every post of her's last year....

Angela over The Inspiration Edit features content on Home and Family Life, Kids Fun, Activities And Crafty Ideas.....I love reading her blog. Her daughter is nearly the same age as Ellie my youngest and I love reading about her too...Angela has started featuring more crafts and lifestyle posts and I love the way her blog is going...

The Rolling Baby.

Amy's blog is pretty new to me. She started blogging in August and I first discovered it when she followed me on Twitter and started chatting!...The Rolling Baby is a family & lifestyle blog. There is no one thing she blogs about. She blogs about whatever takes her fancy. Anything including her baby, thoughts on life, recipes and so much more....

The lovely Louise writes about family life with her two beautiful girls....Some of her posts focus on raising awareness of congenital heart defects and sharing her experiences as a heart family but most of the time she writes about every day life....Days out, everyday moments, crafts and lots of other things...Louise is such a kind and caring lady and reading her blog always makes me feel warm inside....

I can't write this blog post without mentioning the beautiful Jayne (my girls call her that. lol) I tend to keep myself to myself in the blogging world so I don't know when and how we became friends but we are. She is a lovely person and adore her blog. She is one of the hosts of Monday Morning Blog Club along with Deb's Random Writings. It is a fab linky where you just link up your blog and people choose which post to comment on....

On Sticky Mud & Belly laughs there is a bit of everything. Lifestyle, craft, family and review posts....Her boys are the cutest and Jayne has a cracking sense of humor!

New Year, New TV shows....

It's a new year so that means there is a whole heap of TV shows returning to our screens.

After Christmas it always seems a bit boring in January but not for me. There is quite a few TV shows which I am looking forward too most starting over the next week or so.

Celebrity Big Brother - 9.00pm on Ch5 - Tuesday 2nd January.

Celebrity Big Brother 2018 will feature an all-female cast when it launches today to mark 100 years since women won the right to vote. However, the series will still feature male housemates, who will be gradually introduced to the house over the series.

I love Big Brother and always look forward to the celebrity one....There's a few people rumoured to be going in but we'll have to wait until tonight to see for sure...

Hunted - 9.00pm on CH4 - Thursday 4th January.

The 3rd series again see's ordinary members of public going on the run while being tracked by professional investigators, hackers, profilers and ex-police officers. With limited financial resources those hunted must do whatever they can to maintain a low profile against hunters who use every trick in the book to find, track and catch them.

I love this show....I find myself cheering for the hunted and shouting at the TV when they decide to end the episode when the hunters have nearly caught someone.

The Voice UK - 8.00pm on ITV. Saturday 6th January.

The second of a three series deal will see The Voice UK back on ITV. Emma Willis presents and the judges Sir Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson and will.i.am are joined by newcomer Olly Murs!

I really like this show. I didn't warm to Gavin Rossdale as a judge last series so I am looking forward to seeing Olly Murs who has replaced him....

Dancing on Ice - 6.00pm on ITV - Sunday 7th January.

Presented by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby the classic skating competition Dancing On Ice is back!! The judges have already been confirmed with Torvill and Dean now on the panel, Jason Gardiner making a comeback and Ashley Banjo joining the show for the first time.

I can't wait! It may be awful but I do like to see the celebrities fall over....Monty Panesar the cricketer has already been replaced as he broke his ankle in training. Eek!

Kiri - 9.00pm on CH4 - Wednesday 10th January.

Kiri is the latest drama from Harry Potter and the Cursed Child writer Jack Thorne and starring Sarah Lancashire. The Happy Valley star plays Miriam, an experienced social worker who is caught up in a police investigation when a young girl named Kiri goes missing on a supervised visit.

I have seen this advertised but I don't know much about it apart from it looks good. I think it will be something that leaves me wanting more at the end of each episode.

What are you looking forward to watching in TV in January?

Our Weekly Meal Plan!! - #mealplanningmonday

Happy New Year! Wishing you all the best for 2018!

Last weeks meal plan went great.....It was such an easy week to plan for. Leftovers and picky food but Christmas is over with and we're back to eating normally. How boring!

This week on the menu we have:

Monday - A roast pork dinner...I have bought the same pork joint that we had for Christmas from Iceland. It was so good and as long as it wasn't a seasonal think I will carry on buying it.
Tuesday - Pork stir fry if there's enough leftover. If not it will be chicken using the frozen cooked, sliced chicken from Tesco....
Wednesday - Mince & veg cooked in the slow cooker with mash....
Thursday - I'll add a couple of tins of beans to the leftover mince & we'll have it over jacket potatoes...
Friday - Battered sausages, chips and curry sauce....
Saturday - Leftover part food out of the freezer that we didn't eat over Christmas....
Sunday -  Slow cooker pulled pork in buns....

What will you be eating this week?

Happy New Year!

Thank you for sticking with me throughout 2017! Here's to 2018 and making it an amazing year!
