The Christmas Tag....

I found this tag months ago and it seems like I have been waiting so long to post it but it's finally December and it seems acceptable now....

1. What is your favorite Christmas film?
It is so hard to choose just one.....I'm picking two. I love to watch Elf with the girls. It's so, so funny and by myself I love watching Love Actually. It makes me cry and laugh and it's such a feel good film.....

2. Have you ever had a White Christmas?
I'm sure I have....I know quite a few years ago when Ellie was still little it snowed a lot round about Christmas and it was amazing.....We had a great time building snowmen.

3. Where do you usually spend Christmas?
At home with Stu and my girls....

4. What is your favorite Christmas song?
Fairytale of New York. Love it! I have it as the ringtone on my phone throughout December....hehehe

5. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
Yes. We all get new PJ's. There is something special about Christmas eve pyjamas

6. What is your favourite Christmas advert?
I really like the Sainsbury's one....The song is so catchy. (I still don't like James Corden though)

7. What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?
Elf on the shelf, cooking the dinner, opening the advent calendars, wrapping the last of the presents on Christmas eve with a bottle of Asti and getting new PJ's on Christmas eve!

8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

9. What tops your tree?
A star.

10. What is your all-time favorite Christmas food/sweet treat?
I like the fancy stuffing from M&S and Christmas cake. Not together of course. hehehe

11. What is your favourite festive drink?
Baileys over ice.

12. Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?
In all honesty I like giving gifts....I’m really excited to see everyone’s faces after they open them.

13. What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?
As a child a trampoline and as an adult my laptops. I got my first about 5 years ago and a replacement last year.

14. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
A Furby.

15. What would be your dream place to visit for the Christmas season?
For the kids Lapland....It would be great to see Santa....For myself New York. It always looks so magical at Christmas.

16. Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?
I am a total fail when it comes to wrapping.....I hate it and I'm not very good at it....

17. Your Most memorable Christmas?
It was the Christmas after the girls had their open heart surgery....I felt lucky they were still here so I spoilt them so much....I went way over the top on everything and it was just the best.

18. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
We get new pj's, a takeaway, watch The Snowman and Stu and I wrap the last of the presents....

19. What made you realize the truth about Santa?
When I turned 11 and my mother just gave me money and made me buy and wrap my own presents. Hmmf. I think this is the reason I want my girls to believe as long as possible....

20. Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?
I used to make them in the past but never stuck to them so now I don't bother.

If you want to answer them too go ahead. Feel free to copy.

  1. I do like this Christmas Tag & your answers.
I love your song choice and I too think New York would be a magical place to spend Christmas.
Oh what a way to find out about Santa - still, at least you got to choose your own pressie ...every cloud & all that...!😞

  2. I love this tag and what great answers. My fave song is last christmas and carol of the bells. Christmas in New york would be amazing x

    1. Thank you! I am starting to love Carol of the Bells. I seem to have heard it so much this year x

  3. Good drink choice, I love Baileys too :) My boyfriend gets his mum to wrap his presents, she was a florist by trade so they're all looking perfect with pretty ribbons...I might slip her a fiver to do mine! X

    1. Baileys is the best! hehehe
Ohh! I wish I could be bothered to wrap things with pretty ribbons.
