We made gingerbread houses.

Last year I bought a Gingerbread house kit. Just the one. The girls made it together but they argued about who got to do what. This year I bought them a kit each!

The kit came from Tesco and was £4. It has everything you need to make a festive looking house. It contains gingerbread house pieces, easy build tray, squeezy white icing with 2 nozzles and candy & jelly sweets.

Putting it together was easy enough....The girls didn't need much instruction from me.

They squished and squashed the tube of icing until it had softened up....Then started putting their houses together....The icing was so sticky which really helped everything stick.....

The girls thought the best part of making the houses was decorating them.....There was a good selection of sweets to use.

I lost count of the amount of times I said to them stop eating the sweets and licking the icing.....lol

The girls had a fab time making these houses and have already eaten them.....There is still a few of the little balls kicking about the house....They fall and just roll.....I have a feeling I will still be finding them next year. hehehe

Have you made a gingerbread house this year?
Do you make them from scratch or use a kit?
