A week of being together. #WotW

This week my Word of the Week is:

This past week has been lovely.....Stu has had a week off work and the kids have been off school too. Unlike longer school holidays where I plan things this week I didn't.....We took things day by day and it was brilliant....

It seems like we haven't done much but thinking about it we have never been bored so we must have done something....lol We have spent our time watching films and playing computer games. We had a walk into town for a look around the market, a day at the beach and we baked twice....

We seemed to have done everything together this week....The kids have helped with the cooking and the housework....I have helped them tidy their rooms. Every evening Becky and I have watched Britain's Got Talent and Corrie....She is quite into it this week but there has been a lot happening. I wish she wouldn't ask so many questions though. Who's that, why's she doing that, blah, blah, blah....lol

It's not very often that Stu and the kids are off school together so this week has been quite special....We still have all weekend together before the kids go back to school on Monday and Stu goes back to work....

  3. Hi Kim, weeks like you have just described are the best. Sometimes planning sort of takes the fun out of things as someone always ends up disappointed if a plan falls through. It sounds like you did a bit of everything, but sadly all good things must come to an end.

Thank you for linking up with the #MMBC.

  4. I love weeks like this. No firm plans. Just go with the flow. I think as the children get older it gives them a real break from the routine at school and suits them more. Wonderful that you could all spend it together too. #wotw

Weeks like that are quite relaxing and really enjoyable when the children get on and there's also another adult to talk to!!

  8. Great to read you've been enjoying each others company. One of the reasons I've not been to the cinema in ages is because hubby talks through it! I've bought Sing and Ballerina recently though. #WotW
