Then and Now. #MySundayPhoto

Last time we visited Amble a small seaside town near us was nearly 4 years ago I took this photo of my fella and girls. I loved it that much that I got it printed on a canvas and it's on our living room wall.....

On Thursday we visited Amble again and had to recreate the photo.....I wasn't sure if it was the same bench or not as there is quite a few but it was. Hooray! Oh how they've grown....

  1. Lovely photo of Stu and the girls - they have certainly both grown since the first one was taken!

  3. Hi Kim, what a lovely thing to do. A fun way to gauge how they've grown. Even their expressions are more serious and grown up!

  5. They certainly have grown! Their faces haven't changed that much, but they're definitely a lot bigger! We did this in Padstow a few years ago with a photo of my boys aged 6 and 3. They had DEFINITELY changed a lot!

  6. What a difference 4 years make, the girls are so much bigger. It looks to me like you have the right spot. We had a photo of our three on bench in some woods near us and I had it made into a canvas, then we went back a couple of years later to recreate it. I think it's now time to go back again :)

  12. I LOVE this idea of recreating a photo. Both photos are lovely, your girls look exactly the same, just a little older, with a hint of shyness coming through x

  13. It does look like the same bench. Very clever. Although, if it wasn't then at least you'd have an excuse to go back.#MySundayPhoto

  14. Love the contrast - you should continue the tradition and keep taking them for the next 20 years. What a difference that would be. #MMBC

  16. Oh I love this; what a great 'then and now' photo and it's lovely to see how much they'e grown up. It's hard to see the children growing up in front of you, so when you see a photo like this it's great to compare and just look at them now
    Brilliant photo #SundayPhoto
