Last time we visited Amble a small seaside town near us was nearly 4 years ago I took this photo of my fella and girls. I loved it that much that I got it printed on a canvas and it's on our living room wall.....
On Thursday we visited Amble again and had to recreate the photo.....I wasn't sure if it was the same bench or not as there is quite a few but it was. Hooray! Oh how they've grown....
Lovely photo of Stu and the girls - they have certainly both grown since the first one was taken!

DeleteOh that's fantastic, the same pose and the same bench, at least one of them hasn't changed!
ReplyDeleteThank you. We were lucky to get the same bench. We tried about 4 before it looked right. hehehe x
DeleteHi Kim, what a lovely thing to do. A fun way to gauge how they've grown. Even their expressions are more serious and grown up!

I see them every day but sometimes forget how much they have grown.
DeleteThey do look so serious now. hehehe
Oh yes, they certainly have grown. Well done for getting the correct bench! #MySundayphoto
ReplyDeleteThank you x
DeleteThey certainly have grown! Their faces haven't changed that much, but they're definitely a lot bigger! We did this in Padstow a few years ago with a photo of my boys aged 6 and 3. They had DEFINITELY changed a lot!
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing how much they change over a few years...
DeleteThank you x
What a difference 4 years make, the girls are so much bigger. It looks to me like you have the right spot. We had a photo of our three on bench in some woods near us and I had it made into a canvas, then we went back a couple of years later to recreate it. I think it's now time to go back again :)

They have really grown up...
DeleteThank you x
How nice the recreate it. They still look the same just bigger and a bit older.
ReplyDeleteThank you x
DeleteAwww thats a lovely photo project! They have grown so much in such a short amount of time and they have a shy, young lady smile in their faces now too! #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteYes, they do look shyer. I think it comes with age.
DeleteThank you x
I think this is fabulous, you should do it every 4 years #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteI think we're going to have to now :) x
DeleteLovely shot and what a difference 4 years makes X #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteThank you x
DeleteWhat a lovely idea to recreate it! Proud Dad!! :) #sundayphoto
ReplyDeleteThank you. He's very proud x
DeleteI LOVE this idea of recreating a photo. Both photos are lovely, your girls look exactly the same, just a little older, with a hint of shyness coming through x
ReplyDeleteThank you...There is a hint of shyness.
DeleteIt does look like the same bench. Very clever. Although, if it wasn't then at least you'd have an excuse to go back.#MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteWe were lucky to get the same bench...There was quite a few. hehehe
DeleteThank you x
Love the contrast - you should continue the tradition and keep taking them for the next 20 years. What a difference that would be. #MMBC
ReplyDeleteI think we might have to. Thank you x
DeleteOh wow! Look at how much they have changed and I really love her nemo top!
ReplyDeleteIt was a £1 bargain from a charity shop. hehehe
DeleteThank you x
Oh I love this; what a great 'then and now' photo and it's lovely to see how much they'e grown up. It's hard to see the children growing up in front of you, so when you see a photo like this it's great to compare and just look at them now
ReplyDeleteBrilliant photo #SundayPhoto
Aww the change is quite big. Can't believe the growth change. Look forward to seeing you tomorrow #mysundayphoto
