How is it August already?
This year is going so fast...
August is my favourite month of the year....So much always happens....It's the summer holidays so I get to spend all day with my girls! Housework takes a backseat and we do fun things.....
We also have my fella's birthday in the middle of the month on the 16th which also always sticks in my head as the day four years ago when we took a holiday to hospital for the girls to have their open heart surgery to repair the holes in their hearts....Both are fine now thankfully...
Later in the month there is Ellie's birthday.....She'll be 6! Wow! My baby is growing up so fast!! This year it's all about Princesses so presents will be princess related and we're having a princess birthday tea-party for her.....I have been told by her that she needs to go to the local soft play too....Last year I took her while Stu was sorting her bedroom out...She wanted a Toy Story bedroom....She got it and the obsession didn't even last a year....lol Now she thinks she needs to go to the soft play every year....We'll see!
Sometime this month I need to do the dreaded shoe shop for new school shoes....As well as a trip out for new school trousers for them both and coats.....I don't need to get the jumpers and shirts for Ellie as she still has all of Becky's old ones...but Becky needs new shirts.....
People ask why we never go on holiday in the summer holidays....This is why....It's all spend, spend, spend!! Plus we have Becky's birthday early in September....Add a holiday on top and we'd be in serious debt....lol
