End of another week so that means Word of The Week time.....
This week my word is....
We spent at least 4 hours on various buses on Wednesday to and back from the hospital for Ellie's hearing test....All is well...She's no more deafer than she was at the last test so all is good.....
We didn't want her getting bored on the bus so we let her take her DS and some games....She never bothered with the games....Nearly the whole time we were on any of the 4 buses she was quite happily taking photographs.....She took hundreds and hundreds but it kept her amused and made the whole journey more bearable....
I do apologise to all the people who she took photos of.....The the man she said smile to as she happily snapped away while he looked quite upset about it and the woman who had a short skirt on who looked quite offended when Ellie said "I have to get a photo of that to show Becky she needs a longer skirt"....Oops! lol
And in other news.....I have a new camera!! Yippee! My first camera which is all mine, mine, mine.....It's nothing fancy just a Nikon Coolpix one but it's so much better than my old one....I can be snap happy now :)

I love childrens pictures, they show the world from their perspective :-) pleased to hear the hospital appointment went well. Have a lovely weekend x
ReplyDeleteLol, what a great way to entertain yourself on a long journey. Glad all OK too x
ReplyDeleteOh bless her! Glad she kept herself busy throughout the journeys and fab that the tests were ok #PoCoLo
ReplyDeleteBrilliant way to keep her entertained! Love her photos, and glad all went well. Exciting to have anew camera, too - happy snapping :) Thanks for sharing with #WotW
ReplyDeleteChildren as so honest =P
ReplyDeleteLobve her photos =) #wotw
I let JJ have free reign with the camera before and although he took a lot of rubbish shots (he was only 3/4!) there are a few gems in there - especially candid pics of his little bro! Well worth keeping. Glad she was entertained even if everyone else wasn't!! #wotw
ReplyDeleteHa, sounds like she kept you amused! My kids love taking photos too, especially of random people they meet out and about but like you say, not everyone thinks it's such fun! Glad that the hearing tests show that her hearing has not got worse :)
ReplyDeleteMy kids all love being let loose with my camera and will take hundreds given the chance. I've got a nikon coolpix too, it takes great shots :-) #wotw
ReplyDeleteMy kids love taking photos on their ds's too. They can spend hours putting all the effects on them. My mum has a Nikon Coolpix, it's a good camera. I bet your going to be the snap happy one for a while :-) #wotw
ReplyDeleteMaybe her skirt was too short, 'out of the mouth of babes' and all that! Awesome pics, I love seeing kids perspectives #WotW
ReplyDeleteGlad the trip went well, and I'm glad she found a way to keep herself entertained :)
ReplyDeleteGreat word! What would we do without phones, these days? My kids love taking photos and videos of themselves on mine. Mel #WotW
ReplyDeleteThe pics are fab and her comments about the lady's skirt made me laugh :-)
ReplyDeleteGlad all went well at the appointment
Andie x
Great word! I love it when the kids take pictures but as they get older it just becomes more selfies :) #WotW
ReplyDeleteHappy new camera! I'm a Nikon girl too :) x
