L’Oréal Paris Casting Crème Gloss - Review!!

I have been dying my hair for years.....It's been every shade of brown you can think of as well as various shades of red, black and blonde....Now I dye it at home every 6 weeks or so just to hide the grey which is coming through....

I was sent some of the L’Oréal Paris Casting Crème Gloss to try out from the wonderful people at BzzAgent....

L’Oréal Paris Casting Crème Gloss is the perfect at-home colourant for breathing a burst of fresh life into tired hair. Unlock your full hair potential with this ammonia-free gloss that makes hair feel as good as it looks.

With a whopping 38 different shades to choose from, it’s a perfect choice for hair colouring beginners and seasoned colouring pros alike....

On first impression the L'Oreal Casting Crème Gloss looks just like any other hair dye that's out there in the market.....There is nothing special or unique about its packaging which draws me in.....I was very impressed with how many shades that they had to offer though.....

The instructions were clear and easy to read.....It was the usual process of mixing the tube of dye with the other bottle of solution....When it came to putting the gloves on I did struggle.....I wouldn't say I had large hands but they were really small and a faff on to get on.....

As for applying I usually use a brand where you put it onto dry hair but this you apply to (damp) towel dried hair.....The dye went on very easily but it was hard to see where I had applied the dye to......

There was plenty of the product....I have medium length hair....Just past my shoulders and was concerned that one bottle would not be enough but I was surprised to find it covered my hair completely.....I also liked the fact there was no nasty ammonia smell to contend with....

I left it on for the directed 20 minutes and had no adverse effects...The dye washed off easily - some dyes seem to take forever to wash out....running coloured water for a very long time....This was very quick....

Over all I’m very pleased with the L’Oreal Paris Casting Crème hair dye....The colour result was pretty much how it should be according to the box.....My hair didn’t feel dried out as it can with some hair dyes and most importantly it covered my greys.....I would certainly recommend this to friends!!

I was sent L’Oréal Paris Casting Crème Gloss free of charge from BzzAgent...This is my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own...

  5. Great results I have been using the live colours to dye mine black with a hint of blue but over 6 weeks later I am still finding traces of blue on my towels. I spent 20 mins rinsing the colour out too so may give this a try in future #TriedTested

    1. I know what you mean about the live colours....It's impossible to get all the extra colour out just with rinsing...I'm converted to these now :) x

  6. I use Loreal excellence and love it because it comes with a pre treatment to help protect hair and most importantly covers the greys! May have to try one of these :)
