There is just over a week and a half until the start of the summer holidays....I can't wait! I'm mostly looking forward to not having to get up at 7am and rush about but I'm also looking forward to the fun we are going to have!
1. Play tennis....The kids have seen Wimbledon and there are tennis courts at the park.
2. Go to Amble again.....A lovely seaside town near where I live.
3. Have a picnic in the park.
4. Visit the local library.
5. Hunt for bugs.
6. Have a go at Water gun painting.
7. Go for a ride on a train.
8. Find some ducks and feed them.
9. Go to the soft play center.
10. Explore the local woods.
11. Go to Alnwick Castle.

12. Have a water balloon fight.
13. Go to a funfair.
14. Visit a local farm or petting zoo.
15. Roast marshmallows and make s’mores.
16. Go on a boat ride.
17. Make Oreo Cookie Surprise Cupcakes.
18. Have a movie day....The weather is bound to be rubbish at least one day!
19. Go to the cinema.
20. Visit the Great North Museum in Newcastle.
21. Roll down a big hill.
22. Have a proper 99 ice cream.
23. Make daisy chains.
24. Plant something, tend to it & see it grow.
25. Have a BBQ and eat the food outside.
What plans do you have for the summer?
Great list. The great north museum is fab. For a train ride the Stephenson museum has heritage train rides at the weekend which are good fun. My son loved the old train. Ouseburn farm is good as well, we went recently but not written it up yet)

Love this list of things to do over the summer - think I will have to borrow a few of these to add to our list! I love the idea of water gun painting - sounds like it would be great fun. Hope you manage to get all of these ticked off over the summer :-)

Loads of good days out and ideas for fun there! Though I've got visions of paint splattered girls with the water gun painting! :D Lets hope we get a good run of decent weather now. I won't be returning to work until around Mid September, so I'm going to make the most of the next few summer months, I'll have to make my own list now :D
