The summer holidays are nearly here! #WotW

This week my Word of the Week is actually two words..... Cheating I know but I am so excited!



I expected this week to drag with the kids officially breaking up for the summer holidays at 1pm today but it has flown over....I haven't got half the things done this week that I wanted done but not to worry....I actually don't care....I have my girls every day, all day for the holidays and I am excited about it.....

When they are at school I see them for an hour in the morning and about three or four hours on an evening and it isn't long enough to do anything.....We live for the weekend and now...Well at least for the next month and a half or so every day will be like a weekend!!

For seven or so weeks there are no more school runs, no more early mornings rushing about, no more finding uniforms, no more stressing about homework, no more worrying about whether Ellie has behaved at school and no more routine!!

We have seven weeks to relax, unwind, play, have days out, wear what we want, eat when we want, have freedom, we can have late nights, lie in's and lots and lots of fun! We also have the Stu's and Ellie's birthdays over the holidays! Hooray!!
 
Just remind me of this post when we're about five weeks in and the kids are driving me crazy.....hehehe

    Yay, I love the school holidays for the same reasons as you (although we have three birthdays) I'll be there complaining with you around about week five or six ;)

    Happy holidays! We don't finish until Wednesday but I wish the end of term had been today. I could totally do without the mad school dash-we are all exhausted. Hope you all have lots and lots of fun :-)

    ITS OFFICIALLY summer vacation now for us too! Like you I just want to spend time with my son as I miss him dearly. I cant wait to do simple things with him! #wotw
