Playing - #MySundayPhoto

At 5am on Saturday morning the girls were caught playing on their tablets in their bedroom.....Firstly the tablets are not allowed upstairs and secondly 5am on a Saturday morning is no time to be up.....

They spend the rest of the day serving a ban.....Playing together nicely with no arguments or fighting....It was absolute bliss....I'm thinking of banning tablets every Saturday....hehehe

  2. It's funny how much fun kids can discover if their tablets are taken away - ours are exactly the same. Suddenly all the old toys and games get dusted off ...

  3. Lovely to see them playing so happily together - 5am on a Saturday morning is definitely not a good time for being up and playing on tablets!

I think it's lovely they still play so nicely together just being 'kids'

  5. I'm glad the ban had such a positive effect! Have to say, it's often the same way in our house. Amazing how nicely they can play together when they can't disappear with their tablets!

  11. How lovely! Reminds me of my childhood... long before tablets were invented! It's funny how children will happily turn to whatever is there to play with, isn't it - whereas adults tend to be a bit lost without our tech these days!

  26. How lovely. This picture is defiantly a keeper. Playing is much better and more fun, than just sitting down and watching TV.

  27. Well done you. We don't have the iPad upstairs. I don't agree with letting them take them to bed. Ethan does have his as soon as he is up, but it's his thing x

  32. Good for you Mama! I am dreading the time when my E&E are old enough to understand why playing tablets for not good for them. Ethan is already glue to it and it is really hard habit to break. But I will carrying on trying.
