Last weeks meal plan went OK. We skipped and changed a few meals around but it was all good, nothing went to waste and we ate well. Last week was all about getting to this week, my birthday week. hehehe Stu is off work for the whole week and we have some lovely plans including a meal or two out, maybe a trip to the cinema, putting the Christmas tree up and of course there will be presents for me. I got the food shop delivered from Iceland as we didn't need that much and I wanted to get some things and put them away for Christmas. More stuffing, some cherry bucks fizz and some party food. I tried not to buy too much as I know my dad is taking us shopping in December and we always go to Iceland.
On the menu this week we have:
Monday - Jacket potatoes with whatever toppings we fancy! I will probably have baked beans and coleslaw and the girls will have beans and cheese.
Tuesday - Mini battered sausages, chips and curry sauce.
Wednesday - Stu is going to cook so who knows! I am going to give myself a pamper. I'm going to have a long soak in the bath, do a face mask and do my nails.
Thursday - It's my birthday so it's my choice and we're eating out. I already know what I'm having, a Christmas dinner!
Friday - I'm not 100% sure but it will most likely be a takeaway of some sort. Last week I found out Uber Eats delivers to us so we have so many more options!!
Saturday - We're going out for lunch so we won't want much for our evening meal so probably a sandwich of some sort.
Sunday - A roast dinner of some sort.
What are you eating this week?
Yum! Jacket potatoes with baked beans and cheese is one of my favourite meals! I haven't been able to find Heinz baked beans for ages but managed to pick some up recently.
ReplyDeleteHappy Happy Birthday on Thursday! Visiting from #MMBC
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are having some time off cooking for your birthday. Mine is on Sunday and I've tried to say I'm having a birthday week but nobody is taking any notice of me lol. I love a jacket spud this time of year I always have tuna mayo and cheese.
