Here we are, March has arrived. It's starting to feel warmer, the days are getting longer and it feels like spring will be here soon. I always say the winter weather doesn't bother my mood but after this week and a bit of sunshine I know it does.
I have had a really good week, nothing big has happened just lots of little things to make me happy. The sunshine, getting clothes out on the line, nice food, the girls having a day out together, seeing my dad, phone calls with his partner and good things happening to people that I care about.
Now for a photo every day!
54/365 - 23rd February
I've been rewatching Stranger Things and Dustin singing NeverEnding Story to Suzie never gets old. The first time I watched it I was half in shock and half laughing so much that I had to rewind it and watch it again. hehehe
55/365 - 24th February
Ellie all dressed up for an important meeting, to her it was important and ended up being important to Stu and I too.
56/365 - 25th February
I have had all the windows open most of the days this week. It has been lovely apart from the noise. We live in a quiet area but I always forget how noisy it is with the windows open especially when everyone decided to cut their grass at the same time.
57/365 - 26th February
There was an update on The Sims and burglars are back! They've not been around for years. They're so annoying you can guarantee they will appear just as I put my Sim character to bed.
58/365 - 27th February
The sun was shining and the sky was blue. I had so much get up and go and got plenty of things done that I've been putting off for ages.
59/365 - 28th February
The kids went to town and had a great time, Becky's text messages made me chuckle. Wetherspoons for breakfast as they have dared to shut McDonalds for a month for refurbishment. Eesh! I'm proud she almost remembered who my favourite WWE wrestler of all time is. They were shopping for Mother's Day presents, I can't believe how organised that they are.
60/365 - 1st March
Ellie loves a bargain and saw these trainers for £10. They're not my sort of thing but she loves Hello Kitty and it's her money to spend.
How lovely that your girls have days out together - am hoping that will happen someday for my sons! ;) Ellie looks absolutely lovely in that outfit, it's so flattering on her!
ReplyDeleteI love Stranger Things and Dustin singing NeverEnding Story to Suzie is one of my favourite scenes too. Hello Kitty seems to be making a come back - those trainers are fab
ReplyDeleteI also love having the windows open as much as possible. Hubbie complains that it's freezing most of the time. Roll on spring...
ReplyDeleteIt's great when kids have their own money to spend. N's latest was a surround for a dartboard. We've had the downstairs windows open here too (upstairs all open over the winter anyway), and it's so lovely to have the sun streaming in.
ReplyDeleteYes to the open windows and fresh air! There were a couple of really warm sunny days in the last week. But my DH wants the heating on all the time when he is at home. I feel like we'd need to re-watch Stranger Things when the new season comes later. I was very annoyed with Suzie for making Dustin sing. It's lovely that your girls are so organised, and already think of gifts for your birthday.
ReplyDeleteI have been playing the Sims since they re-released the Legacy Bundle, and it's a blast from the past! Hope you continue enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteI think the blue skies make everyone feel better, it's so nice to have all the windows open.
ReplyDeleteEllie looks very smart all dressed up, it sounds like her and becky had a fun time shopping too.
I'm sure it will be something lovely the girls have got you for Mother's Day.
Oh I bet it felt wonderful to have the windows open! Your girls are really planning ahead; I don't even expect my boys to remember Mother's day is even a thing until I remind them a week ahead of time.
ReplyDeleteEllie looks lovely in that outfit. The weather is starting to get better. Although, we don't have as many blue skies and it is a bit cold.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it nice to crack open the windows! I've had ours open all day, but as soon as Craig got back, he moaned that it was cold haha!
ReplyDeleteYour girls are so thoughtful, I wonder what you will be getting for Mother's Day! How exciting. xx
Glad you had a week with lots of little things that made you happy. Hope that all went well with Ellie’s meeting. I’m impressed at Becky being so organised shopping for Mother’s Day. Love Ellie’s Hello Kitty trainers. #project365
ReplyDeleteGood to hear the girls are so well organised with Mother's Day. I love Hello Kitty and would have bought those trainers too. It's been lovely having warmer weather, although it's still a bit on the cold side.
