Did you know 80% of infectious diseases are spread by hand contact.....There are 76 million cases of food borne illnesses annually, resulting in 325,000 hospitalisations and according to the Centers for Disease Control hand washing is the most effective way of preventing sickness.
Last we had a sickness bug.....(Just a 24 hour thing...We're all fine now) so I was trying to be careful by washing my hands regularly when the postman knocked at my door and handed me a parcel containing some samples of Ecohydra Hand Sanitiser What fantastic timing!!!
Ecohydra Hand Sanitiser is the first alcohol-free sanitiser approved by the NHS.....It is a fast acting, alcohol-free foam hand sanitiser which kills up to 99.9999% of common bacteria whilst moisturising the skin with soothing Aloe Vera.....
Of course I gave it a try straight away.....Ellie of course had to be in on the action....It was safe for Ellie to use as it is alcohol free....
There is no faffing on with water.....It was just a case of giving the container and shake and pumping some out onto your hand and rubbing it in.....It dried quickly and naturally leaving no stickiness..... Enriched with the natural moisturiser Aloe Vera it can be used repeatedly throughout the day....
With being completely alcohol-free there is no harshness like you get with alcohol-based sanitisers.....Research shows that alcohol-based hand sanitisers actually increase the number of bacteria on the skin the more they are used.....Alcohol is a solvent that strips away oils that are important for water retention and dries out the skin when it evaporates.....This drying effect causes chapping of the skin, creating cracks and crevices where germs may become trapped or hidden.
EcoHydra Antimicrobial Hand Sanitiser vs Alcohol based products – Clinical Benefits
EcoHydra Hand Sanitiser was a pleasure to use....The smaller bottle has a place now in my handbag.....I think it will come in very handy on days out when a sink and soap are not available....
I was sent EcoHydra Hand Sanitiser free of charge to try...This is my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own...
It's always good to have a hand sanitiser in your handbag and this one looks perfect :) #TriedTested

DeleteI am a bit of a hand sanitiser freak as we too had a sickness bug recently and iv'e since started using it again much more often. I've never tried this one normally we use a gel style one but the foam looks like a good idea! #TriedTested
ReplyDeleteI prefer this one over gel one's now....Just my opinion though :)
DeleteThat sounds rally good, I think a sanitiser is always a handy thing to have in your bag.

DeleteI hadn't thought about alcohol...I went mad and stocked up on the Vicks First Defence stuff before it was discontinued...checked the ingredients just now and it has alcohol in. Psychologically though it makes me feel more germ resistant so that'll do for now.
ReplyDeleteGreat review, I'll be reading labels more carefully in future! :)
Hand sanitiser is always a good thing to have in your bag - especially one that doesn't dry your skin out! I'm also really impressed that it's suitable for kids because it doesn't have any alcohol in it.

I use loads of hand sanitiser, but not sure if it alcohol free. Must check. This sounds good. Like the idea of foam better than my usual gel. #TriedTested
ReplyDeleteAnd did you see that I nominated you Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award?
Thats a good idea, most of the hand sanitisers I use are not alcohol free and then I need to use handcream after... argh! #triedtested
ReplyDeleteAlcohol Free sanitisers are always much nicer and more pleasant to use! #triedtested
