Ellie is a reluctant writer....I would go to far as say she hates writing so it was a big deal when she was awarded this in the weekly assembly at school....

Fab. It's always lovely to see a child's efforts being acknowledged, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteYes it is. Thank you x
DeleteWell done Ellie, handwriting is a sore subject in this house, we could do with Ellie's influence!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It is so hard when you have a reluctant writer...
DeleteA simple certificate like that can mean the world to a young child. Well done Ellie # MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteIt really did mean the world to her. Thank you x
DeleteHi Kim, that is excellent. My handwriting is terrible and so bad so, that at school I spent many a break in handwriting lessons. Maybe a little encouragement instead of punishment would have worked better!

I think encouragement really works....I know when my girl is punished at school for something silly it really puts her off it.
DeleteThank you x
Very well done to her! I have a reluctant writer - he's about to do his GCSEs and we've started thinking about his A Levels, so we really need to address that! x
ReplyDeleteEek! Good luck to him with the GCSE's...
