Week 7 of #Project366 - A photo every day for a year!

It seems lots has gone on this past week. It started with the massive storm, there was thankfully not much damage here, decorating Becky's bedroom, the week ended with the kids breaking up from school for half term, me coming down with a cold, Valentine's day and another storm being forecast.

Now for a photo every day!

My youngest daughter rolling around on my teens bed. Testing it was safe after we put it up.
A grey stormy view over the fields at the back of my house.
Bright green paint on a wall and snow hitting a window
Daffodils starting to bloom
A valentines day card and my youngest ready to go to school

39/366 - 8th February
Ellie being the lightest of course had to test out that her sisters new bed was safe to lay on and climb about on.

40/366 - 9th February
Storm Ciara hit. It damaged a couple of fence panels and blew the wheelie bins around our garden but we got off lightly. There was tree's blown down around the corner and the Humber bridge was closed which cause massive disruption.

41/366 - 10th February
Stu decorated Becky's bedroom. He put some wallpaper up because the walls were uneven and the last lot of paint didn't take well and painted it bright green. It actually looks brighter in real life but Becky loves it.

42/366 - 11th February
We finally had some snow, just a little and it was far too wet to lay.

43/366 - 12th February
I love daffodils and I always buy some from the supermarket. They bloomed.

44/366 - 13th February
My youngest wrote her first Valentine's day card out for her boyfriend "D". (I've blanked his name out). She also bought a bar of Galaxy chocolate for him. Aww!

45/366 - 14th February
Ellie had a non-school uniform day at school and the only rule was they had to wear something red and pay a pound. She has the red well and truly covered.

  1. The weather has certainly been pretty horrendous. I hope you don't get any damage from Storm Dennis. That is a brilliant shade of green. Ellie has definitely got the red covered! My son's school have a theme for their non-uniform days and if you choose to ignore the theme, you have to pay a bit extra. My son always ignores the theme!

    1. I think we got off pretty lightly with the storm. A couple of power cuts which lasted about a minute each and some hailstones. The previous storm was worse.

  2. N had non uniform day too - he wore red but didn't need to. Bet Becky's pleased she has a newly decorated room. We're up nearish your way at the end of this week - well, Scunthorpe for a random hotel review, and then Grimsby to see my best friend at her parents.

  4. The weather has been pretty abysmal in the last week, from one storm to another. That's a strong shade of green, hope she is not tired of it quickly. We didn't have any snow here. Eddie also had a non-uniform day at school, it was called Break the rule day, and they had to pay 50p for every rule broken, like wearing a non-school top etc.

  7. That green paint is very bright! Glad that the bed passed the test of Ellie climbing about on it and that you got off fairly lightly with Storm Ciara. Daffodils are such sunshiney flowers - I love them too. How lovely that Becky sent her first Valentines card. Always nice to have a non-uniform day. #project366

    1. The snow was a bit of a let down. We've had hailstones since and plenty of wind. Ugh.
      Thank you.

  11. I love the themed non uniform days, my boys used to love going into school in their civvies, love the bright green, not sure I'd want it in my room though lol. Hope the valentines card was received well, did she get any back?

  12. We had a storm here this week as well but you've had quite a strong storm. The paint colour looks good and the daffodils look great. Cute red theme; she must've loved not wearing a uniform.
