The kids had their pizza on Saturday and Stu and I had the Valentine's day meal deal that I got from Morrisons because it had short dates on everything and I didn't want to risk waiting until today to have it. We had cream cheese stuffed mushrooms and ciabatta breadsticks for starters, Beef Wellington, new potatoes and carrots for the main, chocolate brownie puddings for dessert and a bottle of Rose Prosecco.
Stu and I did say that we weren't going to do anything for Valentine's Day but then I caught him ordering me flowers and the girls are today out so I decided to order us an afternoon tea from Kettle and Crumb. We've not tried them before so I hope it's good.
On the menu this week we have:
Monday - I am sure Stu & I will be full from the afternoon tea so snacking for us and the kids are eating out so snacking for them later tonight too.
Tuesday - We're baking so sandwiches and whatever we've baked.
Wednesday - A fake KFC using the SFC Take Home Boneless Bucket's with fries, coleslaw, onion rings and baked beans.
Thursday - Chicken & ham casserole with creamy mushroom sauce with mash. (I bought them already made from Tesco)
Friday - Scampi, chips and mushy peas.
Saturday - Melty pepperoni pasta bake.
Sunday - A roast dinner of some sort.
I am linking up with Karen over at Cat's, Kids, Chaos who is the host of the meal planning linky. If you blog about your meal plan do come and link up!

ReplyDeleteI hope you had a wonderful afternoon tea! Heading over to check out that creamy garlic mushrooms recipe; that sounds delicious.
ReplyDeleteI like the look of the Chicken and Ham casserole. I might have to take a trip to Tesco and put it in the freezer for when I don't want the hassle of a lot of food prep.
