I had absolutely no idea what Sloppy Joes were! Look messy...
ReplyDeleteOh yes they are very messy but delicious! :)
DeleteI am always intrigued by sloppy Joes. There is a recipe in Good Food this week I might try out!
ReplyDeleteThey're lovely!! My girls love them! So quick to make as well! :)
DeleteFish finger sandwiches are my guilty pleasure with cheese oozing out from the side mmmmm!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week :)
We have them with baked beans on....Mmmm lovely :)
DeleteFish finger sandwiches, we've not had those for ages....I may be adding them next week. Hmmmmm, with tarte sauce. Delicious!
ReplyDeleteEasy (much easier) recipe for sloppy joes, from an American who makes them all the time. Brown 500 grams lean mince with onion and garlic. Add enough ketchup to make it saucy but not runny, add about 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and about the same of dijon mustard. Salt and pepper to taste. That's it, cook until the meat is tender. You can throw it all in the slow cooker too and put it on low for the day.
ReplyDeleteOhh sounds fab!! I think I'll just follow your recipe! It does sound much easier :) Thanks x
DeleteLet me know what you think after you try them.
DeleteI will!! Thanks :D
DeleteSloppy Joes sound great - I might have to try them next week!
ReplyDeleteOhh they are :D
DeleteLove fish finger sarnies, need to go get some fish fingers again now! I love sloppy joe's, I once saw a recipe for the meat mix with garlic bread slices on top then baked, not quite the same but was really tasty
