My girls have spent far too much time playing Minecraft this week....That's just my opinion though. They would have played more if they could. lol

An endless battle with kids, mine have been spending too much time online too
ReplyDeleteYou do have such varied activities though with the girls, so an extra bit of Minecraft won’t hurt #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, it's a tricky one, but they'll soon be back at school.

Nice tower! My son is the same, he would play all day...
ReplyDeleteAH yes, the whole screen time battle. Screen time goes up in the school holidays right? There are worse games to play than Minecraft though. #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteLooks like some awesome creations! My younger son has definitely spent too much time on his screens this holiday, and my other two haven't been much better either.
ReplyDeleteI love the rainbow tower. My three have been out a lot this week but they did manage to get on Minecraft in the mornings, they've started doing Minecraft roleplay which looks fun. I listen to them sometimes and even though I know they are on the computer I do feel proud that they have such active imaginations, and they have to work together. We may feel that screen time is bad these days and that kids don't spend enough time outside, but It's not all bad, they can still learn so much, even the social skills that everyone complains they will be lacking. I guess it's just a new generation. There was a time in history when people thought it was bad sending your kids to get an education and thought they should be down a mine or up a chimney instead! (okay, I'll get off my soapbox now, haha) xx
ReplyDeleteI don't mind Minecraft in so far as these games go (like Fortnight for example!), but I do have to limit my son or he would be on it for days at a time! :D
ReplyDeleteN hasn't discovered minecraft yet. I won't let him use my laptop and my old tablet is so ancient he probably wouldn't be able to access it on there.
ReplyDeleteAt least they are being creative and planning. Anyways it is hols they can relax 😉 X #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteHave you ever considered writing an e-book or guest
ReplyDeleteauthoring on other websites? I have a blog centered on the same ideas you discuss and would love to have you share some
stories/information. I know my audience would enjoy your work.
If you are even remotely interested, feel free to shoot me an e mail.
I know what it is like once they get into a game and getting them away from it. ha! My Son always says, holidays are for chilling and doing what you want :) #MySundayPhoto
