Another week and another meal plan! Last weeks meal plan went well, we muddled a few days up but just about everything was eaten. Ellie walked out of the house on Wednesday morning going on about the meatballs and I went into the kitchen and filled the slow cooker with them and the sauce. We weren't supposed to be having them until the Thursday and the kids having the leftovers while I was out on Friday. Oops. It didn't matter, there was enough left overs for everyone and the kids ended up having a Tesco meal deal on Friday.
This week we don't have anything on apart from the usually school, college and work. It is Valentine's day on Friday and Stu & I had contemplated going out for a meal but I think we'll just end up getting one of the meal deals from Tesco or Asda.
This week on the menu we have:
Wednesday - Slow cooked beef stew and mashed potato.
Thursday - Fish fingers, chips and baked beans.
Friday - A romantic meal deal for Stu & I and probably a sandwich meal deal for the kids, that's what they've asked for.
Saturday - Pizza.
Sunday - A roast dinner of some sort.
What are you eating this week?
Hope they enjoyed the meatballs and a lovely week of food. enjoy your romantic meal x
ReplyDeleteThank you for the curry recipe - it sounds delicious and it's a great idea to make enough to freeze :o)

I've actually done a meal plan this week, yay! Although I am going out twice!! On Friday half of us are going to a party where there will be a buffet, so the older two can order a pizza. We may have a cheapo pizza ourselves, just in case the buffet is served late and the kids (me) get hungry :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you've got a really tasty week planned! We're going to have a roast again soon I think!
ReplyDeleteYour lazy chicken curry looks fantastic, will have to bookmark it for hubby to make! x
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great week - beef stew in the slow cooker sounds good :)
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely been the weather for a slow cooker beef stew, hasn't it? Enjoy your valentines meal deal!

ReplyDeleteThere’s a few things on your menu I’ve not had in ages. Quite fancy fish fingers now! Also will need to give your lazy curry a try 😊
