(Ad - Gifted) Washable lunch bags from Bibetta - Review!

Ellie, my youngest has already decided that when she goes back to school she will be taking a packed lunch for at least a couple of days a week. From what we've heard the school won't be serving hot food for the time being so she might as well take a packed lunch.

We had been looking at lunchboxes and bags and nothing had taken our fancy but then we were asked if we would like to be sent one to review.

Bibetta’s new collection of neoprene lunch bags are available in two eye catching shapes and seven different designs. They not only look great, but are soft, stretchy, durable and best of all they’re machine washable.

We opened the box and the lunch bag really did make us smile. It is such a fun bag! It's bright, colourful and something a little different.

Key features include:

Easy to clean - machine and hand washable!
The clever design means the lunch bags can be turned inside out and cleaned thoroughly. I think this is a great feature. I know how dirty lunch bags can get with spilt yoghurts, squashed fruit and annoying crumbs. The lunch bag can be fully immersed in water, making them both hand and machine washable. They are quick drying too.

They're made to last.
The lunch bags including their handles are made from neoprene, known for its softness and strength. They are flexible and stretchy but keep their shape well and are extremely durable. They are made to last, and this lunch bag is a sound investment.

They are leak proof.
Neoprene has an absorbent top layer and a waterproof, foam rubber middle layer to insulate the contents and prevent any leaks.

Design-led.
Designed in-house by Bibetta in Cambridge the lunch bags feature popular fun and friendly Bibetta brand characters, Flamingo, Unicorn, Dinosaur and Tropical Fish as well as the new bold designs, Rainbow, Orange Slice and Watermelon. I think the designs of them are brilliant. The fruit one's would be great for adults as well as children.

Their products have passed UK safety requirements, and are free from BPA, PVC, phthalate and AZO dye.

Both Ellie and I really like this bag and I can see her getting plenty of use out of it. It is not something which is going to break after a few weeks or become smelly because we can't clean it properly. When we first opened the box we didn't think it looked that big but looks can be deceiving. It will fit a lot in than we initially thought and more than enough for Ellie to eat. Ellie can't wait to show her friends. This bag is something a bit different from anything we've seen before.

The Bibetta lunch bags are sold for between £11.99 and £19.99 and you can buy them from the Bibetta website or Amazon.

We were sent this lunch bag free of charge in exchange for this blog post.

  1. That's a really cool bag, and it's good that it's completely washable. Sadly, my kid's school have asked for hard plastic boxes only for lunch. It's a shame, because if it's washable it should be acceptable.
