Last weeks meal plan went really well. We ate just about everything. We did skip the pizza on Friday night. I am totally blaming Becky and her girlfriend. They got chips from the chip shop at lunchtime and it got me craving them so Stu, Ellie and I had a chip shop tea. It was so good. The Slow cooker vegetarian hotpot went down really well. A lot of the time my family don't rate veggie meals but they didn't even question the lack of meat in this meal. I wasn't going to tell them either. lol
Stu and I are off to town today. We need a few things. We could get things like grass seed, printer paper and paintbrushes offline but we'd rather pay pound shop prices. We also have a Subway code to use for 2 free footlong meal deals after I complained to them about a rude member of staff. I wasn't bothered about free food, all we wanted was an apology but of course we will take the free food that came with the apology. hehehe
This week I am very excited to try the Hula Hoops BBQ beef flavour potato shapes from Iceland. I got some of the pickled onion Space Raider one's to try too which I am really looking forward to as well. Stu thought they were just big bags of crisps to start with. Eesh. lol.
On the menu this week we have:
Monday - Greggs pasties with Hula Hoops BBQ beef flavour potato shapes from Iceland.
Tuesday - Cottage pie.
Wednesday - Hawaiian Pasta Salad.
Thursday - Vegetable Fajitas.
Friday - Chicken and sweetcorn pizza calzone.
Saturday - Burgers in buns with fries.
Sunday - Lentil and bacon soup.
I haven't made cottage pie for ages. I'm still not as organised a meal planner as you are but I'm going to add cottage pie to this week's menu now. The Hawaiian pasta salad sounds good to :o)
