Week 10 of #Project365. 5th - 11th March. A photo every day for a year!

We have had a good week, better than good. We got the good news that the bleeds found on Ellie's MRI scan most were likely caused by her heart problems and if they haven't caused her any issues by now they probably wouldn't in the future. It was such a relief to hear that her dodgy heart was to blame because her heart problems are stable now. She still has a leaking valve but it hasn't got any worse since 2018. We were told if things stay the way they are she won't be looking at anymore surgery. We still have to speak to the neuro specialists but the cardiologist has put a letter in Ellie's notes sharing his opinions and said they might even see his letter and do the appointment over the phone to save the hassle of us going to Hull and it will of course save them time too.

Now for a photo every day!

Skipping ropes
Contents of our Gousto Box
Me and a chocolate cake
Hospital waiting room and the moon
An all day breakfast

64/365 - 5th March
I have been trying out a home workout kit and now that the weather is finally a bit nicer I can get outside and use the skipping ropes. Skipping really is a good work out. I can feel the weight dropping off me.

65/365 - 6th March
I finally took the plunge and ordered a Gousto recipe box. Our first one was delivered on Sunday and after eating all of the meals I can say I am very impressed and we will be getting more boxes in the future, maybe one a month. The portions were a good size, the meals were easy to make and very tasty too!

66/365 - 7th March
A very windswept me.

67/365 - 8th March
Becky and her girlfriend made a huge chocolate cake and it was delicious. They got chocolate everywhere but thankfully cleaned it all up.

68/365 - 9th March
The hospital waiting room. We got there and it was empty but by the time we were called to see the cardiologist there was quite a queue. I was getting annoyed he was running half an hour late but after speaking to him I understand why, he was quite the talker which of course is a good thing.

69/365 - 10th March
A rubbish picture of the moon.

70/365 - 11th March
Stu and I went out for lunch and had an all day breakfast each.

  1. Oooh.. I should try skipping rope. I used to love that as a kid; though I have to wonder if I'm coordinated enough to take it up now.

  2. Glad it was good news on Ellie's bleeds. Must be a relief for you all. That cake looks good. I need to get out my skipping rope. N has one for tennis although he's not used it much, but we should get out. It's a killer for doing it for any amount of time.

  3. Looks like you need a new hair colour soon, looking forward to seeing which one you'll go for. Excellent news re Becky, fingers crossed it stays that way and you can avoid trips to Hull. Yummy looking cake, glad they cleared up the mess

  4. Nice to get outside for a workout and do some skipping. I haven’t used a skipping rope in years! That chocolate cake is huge. Hope it was as delicious as it looked. Glad all went well with Ellie’s cardiology appointment. It is frustrating to have to wait when they’re running late though. One of our last ones with Jessica was running two hours late. That all day breakfast looks amazing. #project365
