Summer is coming and there is nothing better than sitting outside with a nice cool drink. The kids fizzy pop and juices are nice but sometimes I want something a bit more grown up and that's where Fentimans Botanically Brewed Beverages come in.
Fentimans brews premium, quality adult beverages using the finest natural ingredients. All of their drinks are made using the time honoured technique of botanical brewing a process that combines the infusion, skilful blending and fermentation of natural ingredients. The botanically brewed adult soft drinks are available in a range of unique flavours, including their iconic traditional Ginger Beer and their delightfully different Rose Lemonade.
Recently I was sent several bottles of Fentimans Ginger Beer to try out. I already knew that I would love it. I am a big fan of ginger beer, my grandad used to give my brother and I it when we were children.
This is a traditionally brewed ginger beer with a complex taste. These premium quality, award winning drinks are made using the finest ginger root. Each ingredient is natural with no artificial flavours, preservatives, colours, or sweeteners. This carefully crafted recipe is also suitable for vegans.
It felt like such a treat being sent something that I thought I could keep to myself. Ellie won't drink it because it says beer, Becky thinks anything with ginger in is too spicy and I thought that Stu didn't like ginger beer. He didn't like ginger beer until he tried this one, now he is a fan and I have to share. Hmmf.
The Fentimans Ginger Beer is so good. If you like ginger, then this drink is for you. The first sip hits you and I though it was going to be too spicy but it really isn't. It isn't as sweet as some of the more commercial ginger beers but that is a good thing as I have found they can be quite sickly. After a few swigs you can really feel ginger warmth, this is what ginger beer should taste like.
On Saturday night I tried the ginger beer in a Moscow Mule cocktail. Vodka, Fentimans Ginger Beer, a squeeze of lime and more lime to garnish. It was so good. I am usually a fruity, rum cocktail girl but vodka and ginger beer is something a bit different.
You can buy Fentimans Ginger Beer and their other adult soft drinks from most supermarkets and online through their website. A few weeks ago I bought a bottle of the Fentimans Traditional Curiosity Cola from Tesco and that is a real treat too. It made me think of Cola Cube sweets from when I was a kid. Yum, yum.
I was sent bottles of Fentimans Ginger Beer free of charge in exchange for this blog post.
I loveee Fentimans! The dandelion and burdock is my favourite. I cant drink ginger beer anymore as I drank it a lot while pregnant to help with my morning sickness and it reminds me of that now!

It sounds delicious! I love drinking Ginger Beer when I am back in the UK, though it does always make me think of Enid Blyton books :)
