(Ad - Gifted) Ginger Beer. A grown up drink from Fentimans - Review!

Summer is coming and there is nothing better than sitting outside with a nice cool drink. The kids fizzy pop and juices are nice but sometimes I want something a bit more grown up and that's where Fentimans Botanically Brewed Beverages come in.

Recently I was sent several bottles of Fentimans Ginger Beer to try out. I already knew that I would love it. I am a big fan of ginger beer, my grandad used to give my brother and I it when we were children.

The first sip hits you and I though it was going to be too spicy but it really isn't. It isn't as sweet as some of the more commercial ginger beers but that is a good thing as I have found they can be quite sickly. After a few swigs you can really feel ginger warmth, this is what ginger beer should taste like.

Fentimans Ginger Beer is a soft drink and the brewing process produces a low alcohol content of 0.05% alcohol. It is still considered a soft drink but they do make great mixers for cocktails and other alcoholic drinks. 

On Saturday night I tried the ginger beer in a Moscow Mule cocktail. Vodka, Fentimans Ginger Beer, a squeeze of lime and more lime to garnish. It was so good. I am usually a fruity, rum cocktail girl but vodka and ginger beer is something a bit different.

A few weeks ago I bought a bottle of the Fentimans Traditional Curiosity Cola from Tesco and that is a real treat too. It made me think of Cola Cube sweets from when I was a kid. Yum, yum.
