Week 9 of #Project365. 27th Feb - 5th Mar. A photo every day for a year!

This past week has been a bit of a drag. Excited for the end of the home learning and the return to school on Monday but feeling a bit blah about the rubbish weather, it has felt a bit of a struggle but we got through it and we're going to enjoy a relaxed weekend before we get back into a proper routine, well as much as we can. Becky doesn't start back at college for a couple of weeks and she's still not sure how many days a week she'll be in.

Now for a photo every day!

Gin and Corrie on the TV
A drawing of Billie Eilish and a silver locket
School work, a powerpoint
Lateral flow test card and my youngest on her laptop

58/365 - 27th February
I was sent a bottle of gin liqueur in exchange for a blog post and when the sun was shining on Saturday I thought I better take some photos.

59/365 - 28th February
I record the old episodes of Coronation Street and always watch them in big chunks. They're up to where Nick and Leanne first get together when they're teenagers. It took Becky a while to realise Nick was played by a different actor to the one in Corrie now. lol

60/365 - 1st March
Ellie was working on her Design and Technology project and had to draw some pictures of the headline act at her festival. She chose Billie Eilish.

61/365 - 2nd March
The locket I won from This Mummy Loves blog and decided to let Becky personalise it and add photos to give to her girlfriend. It arrived on Tuesday and it really is beautiful.

62/365 - 3rd March
Ellie has been working on her Design and Technology project since the start of the new term in January and this week came the time to put it all in a PowerPoint. She had to cut so much from it. She was allowed 10 slides but had 25. She rejiggled and decided which one's she really wanted to keep, finished it and handed it in.

63/365 - 4th March
Ellie had her first lateral flow test from school. She was worried about it but did it and laughed that she had stressed so much. We got the results back a few hours later and it was of course negative.

64/365 - 5th March
The last day of home learning for the week and hopefully forever!

  9. Love Ellie's picture off Billie! Looks great.

That locket is lovely and will make a wonderful gift. I think a lot of kids have been nervous about the test only to find out its not as bad as they thought it would be.

  10. So glad that she found the test not too bad. The locket is lovely and I am sure will be very much loved. The gin sounds great too, being relatively new to gin I love trying all the different flavours. Sounds like Ellie did a great job with her presentation I always struggle to keep slides to low numbers.

  15. The gin liqueur looks lovely, hope you enjoyed it! Fab effort with the drawing Ellie. Well done on the locket win. That's amazing your daughter had 25 slides in the end, must be hard to decide which ones to get rid of. Bless her for going the extra mile with her work.
