I was spoilt on Valentine's day. I got chocolates and roses and the roses were something special. I have always wanted some rainbow roses.
When we lived in the North East and went shopping in Newcastle there was a little stall in the middle of Northumberland street, the main street in Newcastle which sold flowers and they always had the rainbow one's and I always said I would get some on the way home but usually after a day shopping with the kids getting flowers was the last thing on my mind. Stu remembered this and finally bought me a bunch. They were so pretty and are still doing so well a week later.
Glad they lasted the week! They have a short life here, usually only a few days (guessing the heat!) #MySundaySnapshot
ReplyDeleteMy Valentine's flowers are also doing well a week later. I think the cooler weather helps. When my hubbie buys me flowers in the height of the summer, it's hard to keep them alive.
