Last weeks meal plan went well. We ate just about everything. Stu and I did get a takeaway on Saturday night and I wished we hadn't bothered. The curry was watery, chips over cooked and the naan bread under cooked. Ugh.
This week on the menu we have:
Monday - A roast dinner. Pork, mash and a ton of veg.
Tuesday - Chinese pork fried rice.
Wednesday - Jacket potatoes with baked beans and cheese.
Thursday - Minced Beef Hotpot.
Friday - Pizza.
Saturday - A fake KFC. Chicken bits, coleslaw, corn on the cob and fries.
Sunday - A fry up! Sausages, bacon, eggs, black pudding, beans, tomatoes, hash browns and toast..
Its so good to be so organised, when it comes to meal times x
ReplyDeleteCan't beat a roast - inspiration for me too - always running out of ideas
ReplyDeleteChinese pork right sounds yummy, going to have to test it out :) X #mmbc
ReplyDeleteOh isn't it just horrible when the take away isn't up to scratch, maybe you should have had pizza instead. Graham went out on Saturday so I ordered a pizza in and it was yummy.
ReplyDeleteChinese pork fried rice sounds interesting.

I make my own curries. They are easy and delicious and probably better than the one you bought. I am sure you could do it since you cook so many other delicious things #MMBC
ReplyDeleteI really must do your fake KFC idea everytime i see it i love the idea
ReplyDeleteI want to say a HUGE thank you - I have read your meal plan posts for ages and this year we have finally cracked it and are actually doing it every week with loads of cooking from scratch so healthier eating, more organised, less food waste, money-saving and helps my son learn more about cookery which he loves - all part of our home education journey too. Thank you - you have made such a difference to our lives #MMBC
