Week 4 of #Project365 - A photo every day for a year!

This past week seems to have passed in a blur. I really don't know what I've done with my time apart from housework. It's been a good week but again I am glad it's the weekend. We are still struggling to get out of bed on a morning. I hate the dark mornings but I did notice that it was still light just after half past four last night. Lighter nights and warmer days are coming and I can't wait!

Here's a photo for every day!

19/365 - 19th January
The look of disgust from Becky when Ellie decides that she doesn't need hands to eat popcorn. lol

20/365 - 20th January
We finally got ourselves a Google Home Mini! I didn't think I'd use it much but I have been using it non-stop!

21/365 - 21st January
I love my Cactus vase. From Poundland.

22/365 - 22nd January
Ellie cooked at school. Cowboy beans and sausages.

23/365 - 23rd January
My new print. Shy Bairns Get Nowt from Rosarts.

24/365 - 24th January
She decided my bed was better than her's.

25/365 - 25th January
I made microwave fudge. It's still setting as I'm writing this blog post. Eek!

  1. Yes I agree I can’t wait for longer, warmer days again. Had enough of winter now!

  2. I can't wait either,ive noticed it's gradually getting lighter x

  3. GOING to get a home midi too for dad - he struggles with fiddly controls - he'll love it

  4. I can't wait for the lighter, warmer days. The days are definitely getting a bit lighter now. Love the expression on Becky's face - typical disgusted sibling! I don't have a Google Home (or any of the similar devices), but I feel like I'm missing out!

  5. Homemade fudge, yum! I haven't made fudge for ages, must remedy that, my guys love it.
Lol @ the look of disgust at hands-free eating trick. We don't have a Google home mini, I have no idea what it supposed to do, but would rather not have more gadgets at home. Though my men might think they need it.

  6. ooh I love making fudge. We've got Amazon echos instead. N likes to play music on his befor ebed, I need to spend time setting mine to do more. They're good fun though aren't they

  7. I’ve never thought of making microwave fudge before! I may try this with the kids although wouldn’t know where to start have you blogged the recipe? We use our google home hub tons. That vase is a bargain, I really should check out our local pound land to see what I can find x

    1. It was just a recipe I found on Google. lol Condensed milk, chocolate chips and vanilla essence. Microwave it until it's melted and put it in the fridge to set! It's so simple.

  8. have noticed the days are getting longer at both ends, only need lights not full beam in a morning now to drive the country roads to work.
    lol at the handless popcorn.
they never get to big to share your bed.

  9. We are the same with these cold dark mornings. There's been a lot of requests from H to share my bed this week - think it's a combo of the cold and the fact that he's finding it hard work being back at school.

  10. I hate it when the days get longer here due to the heat and really hope there's no Uk heat wave this year for my visit, but I understand where you're coming from

  11. The popcorn picture reminds me of trying to eat donuts off the washing line and not licking the lips. I've been into Poundland recently too picking up a bit of storage for the girls kitchenware. #Project365

  12. Oh does that recipe work? I tried to make fudge once and it was a total disaster! Got to love a cactus vase! #365

  13. I drop my oldest off for the bus when it's still dark it is crazy. I made fudge at Christmas and really liked it too xx

  14. Oh I didn't realise you can make microwave fudge!

I almost got a google home but ended up with an Alexa...but rarely use it!

  15. Ooh I actually have no idea what a google home mini is but I’m guessing it’s kike an Alexa? Our kids are forever sneaking into our bed!

  16. Microwave fudge is so fab (I need to find a vegan alternative to condensed milk to I can make it agaian) #project365
