Last weeks meal plan went really well. We ate everything apart from the chicken casserole on Sunday. I made too much chicken curry on Saturday and there was enough to have with chips the next day.
Over the weekend I usually do a food shop but the freezer is still full and the cupboards are over flowing so I thought I would save a bit of money and if we need to just nip out for milk, fruit and bread.
The kids go back to school today which they are not looking forward to. I am. I am looking forward to having a bit of peace. hehehe
This week on the menu we have:
Monday - Spaghetti bolognese and garlic bread!
Tuesday - Leftover bolognese in tortilla wraps. Messy but tasty!
Wednesday - Slow cooker beef stew with mash.
Friday - Pizza.
Saturday - Chicken & egg-fried rice with prawn crackers.
Sunday - A roast dinner of some sort.
Your plan this week sounds delicious! I hope the back to school routine goes well, we are going to struggle!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! I know what you mean about having some peace ;)

I hope back to school goes well. Truthfully I do not think anyone wants to go back. Ooo I have never thought about having the left over bolognese in torillas this is something I may have to have in the future we always seem to have left overs.
ReplyDeleteSpaghetti bolognaise is such a winner in our house! I haven't thought about leftover mince with wraps before!
ReplyDeleteI used to like that back to school feeling when the kids were still at home!
ReplyDeleteI might try chicken in our egg fried rice, and make it a complete dinner, I also love prawn crackers.
Enjoy your peace...
