Our weekly meal plan. 7th - 13th Jan! #MealPlanningMonday

Last weeks meal plan went really well. We ate everything apart from the chicken casserole on Sunday. I made too much chicken curry on Saturday and there was enough to have with chips the next day.

Over the weekend I usually do a food shop but the freezer is still full and the cupboards are over flowing so I thought I would save a bit of money and if we need to just nip out for milk, fruit and bread.

The kids go back to school today which they are not looking forward to. I am. I am looking forward to having a bit of peace. hehehe

This week on the menu we have:

Monday - Spaghetti bolognese and garlic bread!
Tuesday - Leftover bolognese in tortilla wraps. Messy but tasty!
Wednesday - Slow cooker beef stew with mash.
ThursdayQuiche Lorraine frittata with baked beans.
Friday - Pizza.
Saturday - Chicken & egg-fried rice with prawn crackers.
SundayA roast dinner of some sort.

  1. Your plan this week sounds delicious! I hope the back to school routine goes well, we are going to struggle!

  2. Happy New Year! I know what you mean about having some peace ;)

I have just pinned the frittata recipe, it sounds so easy and delicious!

  3. I hope back to school goes well. Truthfully I do not think anyone wants to go back. Ooo I have never thought about having the left over bolognese in torillas this is something I may have to have in the future we always seem to have left overs.

  4. Spaghetti bolognaise is such a winner in our house! I haven't thought about leftover mince with wraps before!

  5. I used to like that back to school feeling when the kids were still at home!
I might try chicken in our egg fried rice, and make it a complete dinner, I also love prawn crackers.
    Enjoy your peace...

  6. great idea for using up the bolognaise and the messier the better i think

  7. Sounds great. We always try to plan our meals for the week too. Makes the shopping and planning so much easier.

  8. I love making Chinese food at home. That fried rice sounds delicious and pretty quick too!

Thanks for linking up, as always x
