I have been meaning to share this post since the summer. Oops. Better late than never.
In August it was Ellie's birthday and her choice of food was a BBQ. I realised that I had a ton of the wooden skewers left over and lots of sweet treats so I decided to do make good use of them by making some sweet kebabs.

It's not something I've thought of or done before but of course I have seen similar on Pinterest and thought why not!
I used fresh strawberries, mini chocolate brownies, marshmallows and mini doughnuts!
They were so simple to make and the kids loved them. I got major mam points for making them. hehehe Becky did take the mick saying I had been looking at Pinterest again for ideas but it didn't stop her loving these.
I made these for a special occasion at first but since then I have made them when we've had cosy nights in front of the TV, lazy day with the kids and of course on party tea's.
The kids have came up with a list of other things we can put on the skewers. Pineapple, Haribo, banana, mini cupcakes and cherries. Anything that you can stick a skewer through would work!
Do you think you would like these?
These look so good! My two would go mad for these.
