Our weekly meal plan! 4th - 10th January. #MealPlanningMonday

Our weekly meal plan

Last weeks meal plan went well. We swapped a couple of meals around but ate everything I had planned. It was nice to eat mostly normal food again with a few treats thrown in over new year. I had a big food shop delivered over the weekend from Iceland to fill the freezer back up with normal food and non-Christmas food. Hmmf. I am going to miss eating party food but we still have some left. Things like biscuits, crisps and nuts. We still haven't eaten the Christmas pudding so we will have that sometime this week.

This week will see Ellie learning from home again which I am dreading, getting her out of the lazy Christmas mood and back into school mode. Wish me luck. Eek!

On the menu this week we have:

MondayRichmond Family Tomato Sausage Pasta & garlic bread.
Tuesday - Roast gammon, new potatoes and veg.
Wednesday - Spam fritters, chips and baked beans.
Thursday - Chicken pies, mash & veg.
Friday - Fish finger sandwiches.
Saturday - Pulled pork in wraps.
Sunday - A roast dinner of some sort.

What are you eating this week?

  2. wow, I clicked on the sausage pasta and expected a recipe...but it comes in a box, my family would love this (well, half of them would, can't please them all.) I haven't meal planned this week, being in hospital all week means my head won't be in it so it looks like we'll just raid the freezer or get take outs (not too many, I'm not that rich) oooh I really fancy spam fritters now, I don't think I've had them since I was a kid.

    1. It is handy things coming in boxes especially for those days when I can't be bothered to cook from scratch. One just about does the 4 of us. We have salad and garlic bread with it to fill us up. I hope the treatment went well x

  6. Can I come round with fish finger sandwiches? I haven't had those for ages. Sorry for slight delay in replying to the linky, lockdown threw me a bit.
