Our weekly meal plan! 24th - 30th May. #MealPlanningMonday

Our Weekly Meal Plan

Last weeks meal plan went well. It was the first week in ages that we ate everything I had planned, on the day I had planned too. It was a total win! It doesn't happen often and it probably is just a one off.

This week we don't have anything planned apart from the kids going to school and college. It's their last week before half term and then Becky only has 4 more days at college, one a week in June and she is finished until September. This school year really has flown over, I know it's because most of the time the kids have been home learning but it still feels like time is flying over.

It feels hard to meal plan at the moment with the rubbish weather. It feels like by this time of year we should be having BBQ's and eating salads but it's too ruddy cold. This week is forecast more rain. Ugh. Come on summer, hurry up!

On the menu this week we have:

Tuesday - Pork and apple sausages with potato wedges.
WednesdayChicken nugget wraps.
Friday - Pizza.
Saturday - Burgers in buns with fries.
Sunday - A roast dinner of some sort.

What are you eating this week?

  1. We haven't had chilli con carne for ages! Maybe I should put it back on the menu. I really like the sound of pork and apple sausages :o)

Have a good week and hopefully we'll get the BBQ and salad weather soon!

  2. I know what you mean about the weather - definitely not ready for summer recipes here either ! Let me know what you think of the tuna and butter bean pie - I'm not sure what the kids would make of it ! The school year is certainly flashing past - it's crazy !

  3. We never seem to have the meals I plan on the nights I plan them either! LOL. We have just 3 1/2 weeks left of school. I can not wait; but it does feel like this school year flew right by!
