Week 21 of #Project365. 21st - 27th May. A photo every day for a year!

Another week has flown over and we've now started the half term holidays. Hooray! We've had a nice week with not much going on which is good because next week we have something planned for every day depending on the weather of course. I've just looked at the weather forecast and it's not looking good. Rain, rain and more rain. Ugh. I am sure we'll still have fun, plans can be changed.

Now for a photo every day!

More digging in the garden

141/365 - 21st May
Stu made a start on doing some work in our back garden. Moving lots of little stones, rocks, bushes and weeds. You can see more in My Sunday Photo blog post.

142/365 - 22nd May
I love that the lighter evenings are here. We don't get to see the sunset because of buildings in the way but the sky is still so pretty.

143/365 - 23rd May
The rain wasn't so good but it has done wonders for the flowers in the planter in my front garden. I didn't think I had planted so many but lots have appeared.

144/365 - 24th May
Home made Chinese takeaway. Egg fried rice, spring rolls, salt & pepper chips, chicken chow mein and chicken balls with sweet & sour sauce in the middle. All from Iceland and a lot cheaper than a real takeaway.

145/365 - 25th May
My dad was having a sort out in one of his workshops and realised he had tools which he never used or some that he had two of. Stu is now the owner of a fancy pillar drill. I don't see the attraction but Stu was overjoyed with it. Heaven knows what he's planning to do with it but apparently it's so good. lol

146/365 - 26th May
I have been watching the Johnny Depp V Amber Heard trial and wow, what a vile woman Heard is! I am totally on Johnny Depp's side.

147/365 - 27th May
Stu spent his Friday afternoon doing more sorting in the garden. Moving more stones and weeding.

  1. I have no idea about the Heard v Depp trial. I just hear bits from you and others on Twitter. You can't beat a drill, especially a fancy one!

  2. Hope you get some rain-free days this week, so far here has been dry. Your Chinese meal looks tasty. I have been reading a few bits on the Heard-Depp trial. I think they are both very disturbed people, but she appears totally unhinged, and very manipulative.
I wish I could motivate my DH to do some work in the jungle which is our garden. :)

  3. I've been using a pillar drill in work, apart from drilling holes I'm not sure what else he can do with it. The garden looks great and the grass is certainly enjoying the wet weather

  4. The flowers in your planter look lovely. That home-made Chinese takeaway looks amazing. How lovely that your dad gave Stu his pillar drill. My husband would get excited over things like that too! #project365
