Last weeks meal plan went to plan. I think not picking a day we would be eating things helped but everything that came with the Gousto box would have lasted until yesterday. The Pizza Style Loaded Beans On Toast were the biggest surprise! Who'd have thought simple beans on toast could taste so good and why didn't anyone tell me honey mustard sauce was so easy to make! Honey, mustard and a drizzle of oil. lol This is what I love about Gousto, I learn something new every time I get a delivery from them.
Sunday's are usually a quiet day here, we either spend it in our pj's or go out for a Sunday lunch but yesterday we went and did most of the Christmas food shopping. We went to the big Iceland near us with my dad. The freezer is now full of turkey and party food and the cupboard has some more treats in it and then we went out for lunch.
Stu is working overtime today, it's supposed to be his day off but he's doing a few hours so I am going to meet him later on and hopefully do the last of the Christmas present buying. I had a quick panic late last week cancelling the Gousto box so it wouldn't arrive while I'm out and I ordered a new one to come tomorrow. Phew!
On the menu this week we have:
Greggs pasties with chips. A nice easy meal after I've been shopping in town.
Gousto - Pork & Apple Stuffing Burger With Parsnip Relish & Sage Chips.
Gousto - Honey & Soy Beef Stir-Fry.
Gousto - BBQ Sweetcorn Pizza.
Gousto - Sausages With Sage Mash And Cranberry Gravy.
Burgers in buns with fries.
Sunday lunch out - Our favourite place to have Sunday Lunch has been doing Christmas dinners and they're so good. I said I want the woman to come and cook my parsnips on Christmas day, they're better than mine. hehehe
What are you eating this week?
Honey & Soy Beef Stir-Fry sounds really yummy. I'd love to see a picture after you've made it :)

We did our grocery shopping this weekend and then tonight's menu plan has already changed and we got invited to our friends' house on Wednesday so I'm shift around our meals to make sure I use up the fresh stuff first.
