Happy Sunday! This week has flown over even though I haven't really been up to much. It has been a week of nothing really but I am happy about that, it has been nice to have a quiet week. I am blaming the fact that I've not really being doing much because I stayed up to watch a live wrestling event on Saturday night into Sunday morning, it knocked my sleeping pattern all out of whack. I have realised I am too old to be staying up until all hours. lol
We don't have much on today. We will be doing our usual Sunday, catching up on laundry as the electricity is still half price with British Gas between 11am and 4pm then this afternoon will be spent most probably in front of the TV watching football as I am told there's a couple of FA Cup matches on.
Now for a photo every day!
33/365 - 2nd February
I stayed up to watch WWE's Royal Rumble live event. This was taken just before half past three in the morning just as the main event was finishing.
34/365 - 3rd February
We popped into the newly reopened pub to show our support to the new people in charge. I am so glad to see the menu hasn't changed but that's because the chef has taken over things. I couldn't be happier.
35/365 - 4th February
I found these little jars of jam that I got at Christmas and couldn't decide which to have so I had 4 slices of toast, one with each flavour. It reminded me how much I love Lemon Curd and to buy some with the weekly food shop.
36/365 - 5th February
This is the biggest lie ever! 1 minute left on the washing machine. Pfft! I am sure I was stood there looking at 1 minute for about three. I know things seem to take longer while you are waiting but the washing machine is still a liar. lol
37/365 - 6th February
My family have finally got the hang of writing what we need with the food shop on the whiteboard in the kitchen, I was on doing the online grocery order and took a photo so I didn't forget what we needed and then have to get back up to look.
38/365 - 7th February
Just me with newly dyed hair! A little bit red and a little bit pink depending on what light I am in.
39/365 - 8th February
Ellie got halfway to Tesco before she realised she didn't have the Tesco Clubcard. It is needed, not only to save those points for Christmas but some of the prices are ridiculous without it.
The white board in the kitchen is a good idea! And then taking a picture of it to remember what you need is a good idea, too. Many of the books that I've read that take place in the UK reference Tesco so I feel like I "know" the store despite having never been in it! Happy Sunday!!
ReplyDeleteLemon curd is my favourite thing to have on toast, I love those little pots they are cute. Your hair looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the washing machine, there must be a separate laundry universe where miniutes are not the same length as ours!
I haven't had lemon curd for ages! Really fancy some now.
ReplyDeleteLove your hair. Pink really suits you. I've got to do mine this week, I need to banish the grey!
I bet you're glad the local pub has kept the menu, especially as you enjoy going there.
Love the whiteboard. Someone has got their priorities right, keeping well stocked in Strongbow, hehe, love it. xx
Ah Ellie needs to have the clubcard on her phone wallet then no need to share the card each time. I love lemon curd too, but generally use it for puddings.
ReplyDeleteGet Ellie to download the club card app - so much better and I bet she won't forget that - you can add it to your wallet too ;) - I love lemon curd!!
ReplyDeletePink is your colour! I have never been brave enough to try it, though I do mahogany red sometimes. The prices without Tesco club card are totally bonkers. I haven't bought lemon curd in years. Good idea with a whiteboard, I think we need one too to write down anything we need just when I can think of it.
ReplyDeleteWe have a shooting app on our phones which is linked. We've also got the apps for the supermarkets in apple wallet so you don't need to be online to use them. Peter is a big fan of lemon curd, I only like marmite or marmalade on my toast.
ReplyDeleteThe little jars of jam look nice. I make my own lemon curd - it's really easy - and my son's girlfriend eats is straight from the jar!
ReplyDeleteOh yes our washer and dyers are liars too and I know this because my sons sets his alarm for the time the washer says and it is NEVER ever done when his alarm goes off! I try so hard to get my family to write what they need at the grocery store on our list but they are still so awful at it. But I'm mean and just won't buy it if it's not on the list-- even when I know they are out! It doesn't really seem to phase though.
ReplyDeleteIt's never a minute if the washing machine says it has a minute left. Haha
ReplyDeleteI love your hair colour, it suits you very well.
That’s good that the menu hasn’t changed at the pub. I like the idea of going with all the flavours on your toast when you can’t decide. Love the hair colour. Writing down what you need on the whiteboard is a good idea and definitely agree the Clubcard is a must for a Tesco shop. #project365
