Our weekly meal plan! 3rd - 9th February! #MealPlanningMonday

Our weekly meal plan

These Monday's seem to be flying around. Last weeks meal plan all went to plan. We did seem to have a lot of Gousto meals but it was because I got our delivery a day early the week before and on the normal day last week but it helped keep me on track, having the meals there ready to be cooked. We had the steak pie on Monday and it's all I have thought about since. My brother recommended a butchers in town, saying their pies are amazing and they indeed are. I am already thinking about when I can fit another into our meal plan.

I don't have much on this week. This week is going to be one I just have to get through before we have a couple of weeks with some fun things happening. The only plan I do have this week is to dye my hair! It desperately needs doing, the roots are coming through strong and there are far too many grey hairs for my liking. I of course will be staying some sort of red. I have got this new shampoo to try, a shampoo to use before I dye my hair so we'll see how that goes.

On the menu this week we have:

Monday - Gousto meal - Sesame Pork & Egg Fried Brown Rice. We have had this once before and loved it!
Tuesday - Gousto meal - Comforting Sausage & Apple Hotpot With Roasted Broccoli. This is a new meal for us and it sounds like such comfort food.
Wednesday - Gousto meal - Curried Lentil & Chicken Soup With Garlic Roti. Another new soup for us to try. My girls aren't too sure about the lentils but they are going to give it a try.
Thursday - Some sort of pie from the butchers in town with chips.
Friday - Fish, chips and mushy peas.
Saturday - Gousto meal - Bacon & Egg Bao Buns With Sriracha Ketchup. We love Bao Buns so this is bound to be a big hit.
Sunday - Sausage sandwiches!

What are you eating this week?

  3. Sriracha is too hot for me, I do like the sound of the sausage and apple hotpot though!

  6. The meals sound so delicious! What a coincidence that you mentioned dyeing your roots—I'm about to do the same in a minute. My greys are coming through so fast these days, and I only last about two weeks before I have to do them again—no fun!
