Hello Sunday! I hope you have all had a good week! I wrote about my week yesterday in my Word of the Week post, it has just got better and better as it has gone on, especially since Stu and I had a night away on Friday night. It felt so strange going away without the kids we had a lovely time and the kids had a great time too without us. I will of course be blogging about it as it was something different for Stu and I.
So today we have no plans at all, it's going to be a lazy one after a busy week and Ellie and I have all next week to relax too as it's half term. That crept up on us, it seems ages ago since the Christmas holidays but at the same time the last 6 or so weeks have flown over!
Now for a photo every day!
40/365 - 9th February
We watched the two FA Cup matches on the TV but I enjoyed the first one the most. Plymouth V's Liverpool. Plymouth weren't supposed to win but the did and are through to the next round of the cup. I always root for the underdog.
41/365 - 10th February
I keep telling myself that Becky earns her money so it's her choice what she buys. This was her latest purchase, duck storage! Madness but she is keen to keep her room organised and this will help.
42/365 - 11th February
We had Venison, Pork & Red Wine Pie made from the venison burgers. I was not a fan, it smelled like feet. lol Stu of course loved it. At least now I can say I've tried venison.
43/365 - 12th February
The only photo I took today. A doughnut! I was busy and this and packet of crisps was my lunch, I know, it's not a good lunch. I should have been more prepared and made something on the morning when I wasn't as rushed.
44/365 - 13th February
I was all set to paint my nails red for Valentine's Day and then I decided the outfit that I was going to wear on Friday night and it wasn't red, it was black and green. I needed sparkly green nails to match!
45/365 - 14th February
Stu and I went away for the night and we got dressed up for a meal and night out. It was nice to spend some time together.
46/365 - 15th February
This breakfast was needed after a wild night out. hehehe
I love your sparkly green nails! I hope to paint mine today; I think it's been almost a month since I've done my nails. It sounds like you had a lovely night away!
ReplyDeleteI like Becky's storage it's much more fun than the usual beige ones. It looks like you've had a lovely week with lots of nice food apart from the venison. I've had venison sausage before and they weren't that nice. Have a lovely relaxing Sunday x
ReplyDeleteLove the duck storage - hope it works! Loving the nail varnish too.Hope you had a lovely night out
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great week mate. Lovely pic of you both, you good-looking pair, you! Glad you had a nice time out together.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I love Becky's random buys! These make my craft drawers look boring.
That brekkie looks amazing. Can't beat a full English after a heavy night out lol! xx
Becky's duck storage is so cute, I totally approve. The nail varnish is very glam! Glad you had a night out with Stu, I think I saw some pics on Insta, and you had some lovely cocktails. It's been ages since I had venison, I don't remember the smell being particularly off-putting. The full English breakfast is always a treat.
ReplyDeleteI love Becky’s duck storage unit. I’m not a big fan of venison either. Glad you and Stu had a lovely night away. Having a cooked breakfast in the morning is one of my favourite things about a trip away. #project365
ReplyDeleteLove the storage unit, I need one of those. Venision is too meaty for me, if that doesn't sound a strange thing to say.
