Last weeks meal plan went well. We swapped a couple of meals around but ate everything on the meal plan. I put some of the leftover sausage casserole into the freezer and I have a portion left for lunch today. I do love leftovers. As lovely as they taste on the day they always taste better the next day.
This week on the menu we have:
Monday - Risotto with bacon & peas.
Tuesday - Fish fingers, chips and baked beans.
Wednesday - Sweet Potato Cottage Pie.
Thursday - Tuna pasta bake.
Friday - McDonalds!
Saturday - Pizza.
Sunday - Roasted sausage and potato supper.
It's so true about leftovers tasting better. I made goulash last week and it tasted much better the next day :o)

I am off to have a nosy at that sausage and potato supper - sounds like it could be a winner here. You've got a great week of meals planned, hope it goes well and thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeleteI am a huge risotto fan and that sounds lovely. We are having tuna pasta bake too this week
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, I totally agree. Left overs do taste better the next day (most of the time). I never thought to use sweet potatoes to top a cottage pie, I like the idea... And the fact you have not so good food on a Friday. It's what Fridays were created for.

... Meant to add that I still do your slow cooker sausage and baked bean recipe. It is perfect to come home to after a walk.
